My kid is genetically enhanced and she and I do a daily check in. I learned that at her former school-Junior High-they had this note on their desks/work areas. It looked like several index cards put together. It was laminated and big enough to see on all the work spaces from anywhere. Three words:

I think that this post is the most important one I've ever made. I know some people with down syndrome and they are the sweetest people I've ever known! The fact that they have an extra chromosome doesn't mean that they are stupid or that they are bad people! They 're actually wonderful in their own special ways and that's they only think that counts. When I see their smiles, I think that they have the most beautiful smiles because they're real smiles!

Giving shouldn't be complicated so we keep it simple with our 1 for 1 sock motto!  For each pair of socks we send out every month, we give one pair of socks to a location or organization whose members could use some soul warming Why?
