Glasgow illustrator Jen Fisher @toastytype , who lost her brother (my best mate) Han to cancer last year, is putting the range of Bing Bong Mail cards on sale on what would have been his 43rd birthday, raising money for Cancer Support Scotland in the process. Jen and her brother Han felt, like many people do, that sometimes ‘get well soon’ just doesn’t cut it. Instead, Bing Bong Mail aims to provide people with authentic, meaningful and down-to-earth words of support. Each colourful card features a protest placard with slogans like “Bring on the drugs”, “Well this sucks” and “Apparently swearing helps” – straight-talking, humorous messages of comfort that acknowledge the gruelling experience of life with cancer. You can find out more about the collection and the story behind them at www.bingbongmail.com. The cards are priced at £3 each, with a third of funds going to Cancer Support Scotland (the rest goes back into producing more cards) If like Jen and I, you agree that cancer sucks and that these cards will give people a smile, please like/share/retweet or pop over to http://www.bingbongmail.com/ and buy some cards. #fuckcancer #cancersucks #happybirthdayhan #downwithcancer @bingbongmail @toastytype (at Glasgow, United Kingdom) https://www.instagram.com/p/CMl2o4ghlf8/?igshid=11638uz1mw1nz
