in rome it’s super cool to go to Largo di Torre Argentina and look at cats living in roman ruins!!

THAT'S EXACTLY WHERE WE WERE! By the Roman ruins there is a ladder and if you follow it you find yourself in the shelter. They take in stray cats and spay/neuter them at their expense so that they don't have kittens that then end up dying in the streets, and I'm pretty sure they also give them their immunizations and vet care if they need it. They also keep old and disabled kitties and make sure everyone gets ALL THE CUDDLES.

Obviously it's not good if she's suffering from stress, but at least it's not an infection or anything worse :) I'm so happy.
