Both of you seem to be at ease with things you likely shouldn’t.” Instead of taking the offered hand Karna lifted both of his own, pressing his palms together like one did for prayer before shallowly bowing. “My greetings to you, then. If the opportunity, I’ll consider your advice.” It wouldn’t hold quite the same level of compulsion an order from Ritsuka would, but he’d promised to listen before acting. He’d keep his word regardless of how things worked out, if nothing else.

aquila doesn’t care about how others intrepret his presentation as an individual. if they see him as lazy or underwhelming, that’s fine with him. if someone sees him as lackluster and low rate, that’s okay, he doesn’t mind. the thing is, he absolutely does not take shit if it’s thrown at him. being reduced in one’s own mind, that’s fine, he’s not going to throw a fit because someone sees him internally as weak -- but if you vocalize that stuff and try to make him seem smaller, he will beat your ass.
