saw a poll about whether you prefer corruption or redemption arcs and i realized that for me it's not really either, it's a distillation arc: when a character becomes the most intense version of what they could be, everything inessential falling away or being discarded so that only the core remains.
intersex person: this thing is only for people who are bodily intersex (which is literally what intersex means), please dont use this if youre bodily perisex. thank you
perisex person: well what about intersex alters??? what about people transitioning to be intersex??? what about the fact i experience delusions and it causes me to think im intersex??? what about the fact i feel icky about being perisex and would LOVE to be a herm instead??? what about my androgyne friend who has a beard and tits after going on T and not getting top surgery??? what about meeee
perisex people will always find a way to treat intersex people as a trophy, goal, or as "just a silly queer label anyone can use"- but when we voice concern and distaste towards said things, suddenly we are bigots, transphobes, ableist, and all the other buzzwords that people throw at intersex people for calling out intersexist bullshit
[image description: the text "do not derail" and "this post is about intersex people & related issues in the style of hollow knight's menu screen text. it is all in the colours purple and yellow, the colours of the intersex pride flag. /end of image description]
i have not stopped thinking about phil saying he was best friends with his grandma. bc we already knew how much dan's grandma means to him! they're literally grandma's boy 4 grandma's boy. they're sweeties :(
likely a lukewarm take but i do believe that a core part of babs' character is that she's intensely overbearingly controlling especially around things that are literally unable to be controlled because such a crucial part of her life was (in her eyes) taken out of her control with a very simple, preventable action. she has to have a finger in every single pie because the one time she didn't, she lost a whole lot more than she was willing to.
Quick-Fix looks so frigging adorable. I just wanna wiggle their little antennae
I’m glad people like my chudling… here’s some more art of her she is very loved
