forgot if this was asked before, but why exactly does lilith have curly poof hair, when both her parents have straight hair?

Oh, she got that from her grandma Maddie! <3 I always liked to headcanon Maddie's curly hair from college is her natural texture (she just got it styled shorter later on for easier management during her ghost researcher work).

Similar reason why Lilith's sister Morgan has freckles when neither her parents do; its another recessive trait from Danny's side of the family (most prominently seen in his Aunt Alicia, & also briefly in Danny when he was little):

What type of relationship do Morgan and Lilith have? I can see Lilith playfully ribbing on Morgan and Morgan finding Lilith to be her annoying big sis.

Yeah, being sisters they are bound tend to mess with eachother at times (whether it's through Lilith being too nosy/lowkey-overbearing, Morgan being too stubborn/lost in her own world, or anything in-between really lol)

At the core of it all though, Morgan & Lilith do still care for eachother at the end of the day; through thick & thin, these sisters have had eachother's backs from the very beginning 🙏🥺💚

Do you have any crack ships in DP, main cast or your next gen?

Yep~ Three of my most prominent OCs spawned from crack ships, ones I initially played with for the fun of fankid-designing but now I’m too attached to let go lol

(*Another crackship I have in-mind is Ghostwriter/Ember; while I’m still in the process of finalizing their fankid, I gotta love me a ship of a passionate writer & singer duo~ 😉❤️‍🔥*)

Hmm, your recent updated Sasha art has me curious 🤔 Since you've found ways to repurpose June's friends in this current next-gen edition, do you have any ideas so far for what to do with Sasha's crew?

Hmmmm... honestly I'm not entirely sure? 🤔I did have fun giving Sasha her own lil "clique" back in the day (when she/most of the other NG cast were more highschool-aged). Buuuut since Sasha's been currently revamped to be more of Lilith's circle, and I did give away a couple of these gals awhile back (Charlotte going to a friend of mine + Heidi getting revamped to my original-verse "The Three Mages"), Iiiiii'm not really sure what else to do with Stephanie and/or Tess, ngl .w.;;

-Though, now that I look back at Stephanie... maaaaybe she might fit as a (potential) sister to Tammy? .3. Idk I'll have to think on it a bit more, but it could be something interesting to add more to Tam's character? 👀

For the first gen/parents of the NG-verse, what are their future jobs in your current HC timeline?

From what I’ve got so far; I see Danny continuing his same role as the protector of Amity Park (probably just going by “Phantom” now in terms of hero monikers), Sam would open her own lil flower shop (whilst anonymously writing up dark fantasy novels subtly based on Team Phantoms’ past adventures), Tucker would become an expert tech guru running his own repair company (think BestBuy’s “Geek Squad”, in a way), and Jazz ofc becomes a renown psychologist (living out-of-state with her husband Dash, now a physical therapist).

In the meantime, Valerie’s carrying on strong as a ghost huntress (teaching younger aspiring hunters like Morgan all about her craft), Paulina & Wes Weston are the current main news anchors for Amity Park news, Star teaches science at Casper High, Kwan is a local veterinarian doc, and Danielle’s currently vibing as a traveling “freelancer” (taking up odd jobs/fighting ghosts in various parts of the world).

As far as the ghost cast, not a whole lot changed for most of them (cause, well… they’re ghosts lol), but some like Dorathea has risen up in power as a queen of her own realm (+the Fright Knight is technically crowned-royalty with his wife, but he still prefers to be called “the Fright Knight”), Johnny & Kitty are living the wild biker fam life with their squad of kids (+Zanna), and Desiree’s thriving well in her own palace/door realm of riches (think the inside of the Cave of Wonders from “Aladdin”):

I imagine for most of the ‘known’ ghosts by the current NG timeline, there’d probably be a few outfit changes/updated designs depending on their own preferences. Otherwise, pretty much the same spooky threats as before (now with a second gen) lol

since i recall dani/valerie was mentioned as an otp in that ship meme u filled out, how come its not part of your current ng-verse?

Weeeell, unfortunately as much as I adore Dani/Val & all the potential they'd have together... the ship itself kiiiiinda came a bit late for me by the time I've grown attached to Darryl's concept (the non-powered, studious jock bff to Lilith & co.), that I feel like changing his parents now just wouldn't really work with what I had in-mind tbh .w.; Compared to say, Arthur (formally an OC/Canon fan-kid) who's change of father (aka Fright Knight) didn't alter him too much in the long haul (save for colors/design details)... idk, it was just kind of a mix of nostalgic attachment & other factors that ultimately made me stick with Darryl being a Tucker/Val kid (+Dani vibing the single life atm) .3.

Buuuuut ye, hope that makes sense lol Could def see Dani/Val working out in a "Universe B" scenario, however (along with my other DP side-ships like Kwan/Sam, Desiree/Dorathea, etc.)! Still wanna try to get more of the current NG cast refs (+other art ideas) out first before I tackle that potential AU though (*less my art brain gets jumbled- TwT lmao*).

How are the relationships between your next-gen cast and their parents?

For the most part, I would say the cast from Morgan & Lilith + their friends have generally good relationships with their parents. Not always perfect, of course, but otherwise healthy & encouraging from their childhood to young adulthood rn.

For others, Tyler has a rather "tense" view towards his parents; as his mom wasn't in the picture & his dad always being absent as a traveling GIW agent, Tyler ended up developing some attachment issues + attention-seeking tendencies as he got older. Max, who grew up with two traveling agent dads (albeit loving), practically became Tyler's only constant friend as they both grew up around the GIW community.

Arthur's dynamic with his parents is a relatively-decent one, for a ghostly prince in his position. His mother's quite doting & happy to see Arthur "spread his wings" to explore the world (+dating the daughter of Sam, who saved their kingdom so long ago). Meanwhile, Fright Knight was a stern but otherwise inspiring figure to Arthur growing up; encouraging him to stand strong & proud for his legacy (though, he's admittedly still struggling to grasp why his son wants to hang around "mortals" so much atm, let alone date one...).

As far as Nyx's Trio goes; on one hand Zanna gets along well with her folks (albeit chaotic with so many rowdy siblings at home), Reve is a big mama's boy & generally respects his father, and Nyx is also pretty close with his mom while things are... complicated between him & his dad (often times frustrated with how no-nonsense Walker is, but at the same time... secretly does want his approval, no matter how much Nyx struggles to follow his dad's "rules").

Um, I appreciate the support, anon… but I can assure you that Nyx’s trio aren’t meant to be similar to Hazbin Hotel’s V’s, in any way lol.
