Elizabeth and Jack

Fresh snow covered the grounds as Jack left his last class. Attending class was a new feature for him. He did not particularly enjoy it, but it got him out of his room. Did not mean he did the work, but he attended. His boots hit the fresh snow making a satisfying crunch. Finding a vacent bench that had missed the snow fall, Jack sat down and pulled out his cigarettes and took one out. He lit it with his red lighter and exhaled the smoke. He closed his eyes and enjoyed the sensation of nicotine flooding his system.

He opened his eyes and watched people pass him. Some confused by actually seeing him out, others just ignoring him. Neither bothered him. He was just here to enjoy the fresh air for once. Tramp had been gone so he was back to being in a room alone. He liked it that way. The window could not remain open. Jack heard someone clear their throat and turned to look toward the noise. "Hey Elizabeth" he said, before taking another drag of the cigarette. "What's up?"
