Shri Venkateshwara University hosted the Plantation Mahayag with full enthusiasm.

Shri Venkateshwara University, VGI Meerut, and VIMS Multispecialty Hospital along with the UP Climate Change Department inaugurated the Plantation Mahayag 2026 with full enthusiasm.

The Venkateshwara Group Founder President Shri Sudhir Giri and the Pro Chancellor Dr Rajeev Tyagi inaugurated the mega plantation function by planting trees.

The VC, Dr KK Dave, and Dr Madhu Chaturvedi joined them to unveil the function and awareness rally held on the occasion of Plantation Mahayag 2026.

We hosted an awareness rally and on oath ceremony for environment conservation along with a mega plantation drive. 

We planted 10000 trees on the university campus and along both sides of the NH with an aim to plant 35 crore trees.

The university management, along with the dignitaries and students, planted banyan, Parijat, Tulsi, Gooseberry, Neem, Jamun, Rudraksh and Bel plants to put forth the message of environment protection.  

Later, the Gurukul girls presented an excellent dance and song session dedicated to environment protection that made the event memorable.

We felicitated a dozen environmentalists and naturalists who are working for environment protection by gifting them shawls, memento and a Rudraksh plant.

The Venkateshwara Group Founder President Shri Sudhir Giri reiterated, lets pledge to make Earth heaven by planting trees and spreading environment awareness on birthdays, marriage anniversary and other social events. This way we can make such events memorable.

Mr Balkar Singh affirmed UP will make the biggest contribution in realizing the Viksit Bharat 2047 and the Clean India Green India mission. He further said that apart from offering quality education, the Venkateshwara Group is also known for its social obligations. Mr. Balkar Singh is Housing Commissioner, UP Government, and a senior IAS Officer who was the Chief Guest at the event.

Pro-chancellor Dr Rajeev Tyagi informed that the mega plantation drive is the most effective way to curb global warming and prevent environmental pollution.

Mr. Nitin Gaur said that the honourable PM and the UP CM Shri Yogi Adityanathji have turned the Plantation Mahayag 2026 into a green revolution. Mr. Nitin Gaur is the DM of Amroha.

The VC Dr KK Dave asserted that the University officials and staff will plant enough trees and work for environmental protection the entire July month.

Those present included the CDO Ashwini Mishra, ADM Garima Singh, SDM Chandrakanta, DFO Rajeev Singh, Finance Director Yuvraj Singh, Registrar Piyush Pandey and Dr SR Malu.

Senior Advisor Dr Vishnu Sharma, Dr BS Tyagi, Dr Aashiya Wahid, Dr Jyoti Singh, Dr Chandrakant, SS Baghel, Dr Mataprasad, Dr Brijkishore, Dr Vinay Kumar Singh, and Dr Sheshnath Mishra were all present.

Shri Venkateshwara University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Apollo Health Care Academy Limited, Hyderabad.

Shri Venkateshwara University signed an MOU with Apollo Health Care Academy Limited (Apollo Hospital Chain) Hyderabad for teaching, training, and placement of Allied Health Sciences students.

Through this academic collaboration, both organizations will nurture Bachelor and Master Professionals in anesthesia, cardiac care, physiotherapy, operation theatre technology, etc.

This is under the guidelines of the National Commission for Allied Health and Health Care Professionals, GOI.  

Both organizations will train healthcare professionals as per the national and international demand by offering them the best clinical exposure.

Apollo Healthcare Academy is a world-renowned medical services provider with over 120 medical units all over India.

The Venkateshwara Group Founder President Shri Sudhir Giri reiterated that by collaborating with Apollo Healthcare, the Venkateshwara Group will nurture trained healthcare professionals for the honorable PM’s Healthy India–Ayushman India mission.

Shri Venkateshwara University's Multispecialty Hospital will provide free medical treatment throughout July.

Venkateshwara Institute of Medical Sciences (VIMS) will provide free medical care, including operations and medications, until July 31, 2026.

As per the directions of the Venkateshwara Group Founder President Shri Sudhir Giri, we will observe Doctor’s Day for the entire July month and offer free treatment, surgery, and free medicines to the patients.

Shri Sudhir Giri, Founder President of the Venkateshwara Group, stressed that to truly achieve the PM Healthy India mission, hospitals must provide free treatment to needy patients for a minimum of one month, not merely one day.

He announced that every year the Venkateshwara Hospital would offer free treatment to the patients in July.

Pro-Chancellor Dr Rajeev Tyagi announced that Venkateshwara Hospital is committed to offering free treatment to the underprivileged people of UP West during the entire month of July.

Dr. Rajeev Tyagi shared that the Venkateshwara Group will honor the PM Healthy India mission by providing free medical services to underprivileged patients each July. This year, this scheme will start on July 6th and will end on 31st July 2026.

According to him, Dr. Sudhir Giri thinks that a month of free healthcare for the underprivileged in every district hospital would save lives.
