Shri Venkateshwara University, VGI Meerut, and VIMS Multispecialty Hospital along with the UP Climate Change Department inaugurated the Plantation Mahayag 2026 with full enthusiasm.
The Venkateshwara Group Founder President Shri Sudhir Giri and the Pro Chancellor Dr Rajeev Tyagi inaugurated the mega plantation function by planting trees.
The VC, Dr KK Dave, and Dr Madhu Chaturvedi joined them to unveil the function and awareness rally held on the occasion of Plantation Mahayag 2026.
We hosted an awareness rally and on oath ceremony for environment conservation along with a mega plantation drive.
We planted 10000 trees on the university campus and along both sides of the NH with an aim to plant 35 crore trees.
The university management, along with the dignitaries and students, planted banyan, Parijat, Tulsi, Gooseberry, Neem, Jamun, Rudraksh and Bel plants to put forth the message of environment protection.
Later, the Gurukul girls presented an excellent dance and song session dedicated to environment protection that made the event memorable.
We felicitated a dozen environmentalists and naturalists who are working for environment protection by gifting them shawls, memento and a Rudraksh plant.

Shri Venkateshwara University signed an MOU with Apollo Health Care Academy Limited (Apollo Hospital Chain) Hyderabad for teaching, training, and placement of Allied Health Sciences students.
Through this academic collaboration, both organizations will nurture Bachelor and Master Professionals in anesthesia, cardiac care, physiotherapy, operation theatre technology, etc.
This is under the guidelines of the National Commission for Allied Health and Health Care Professionals, GOI.
