The Cursed One - continued (DPFDs thoughts)

Pierre frowned as he cautiously ran his fingers through the scruffy fur at the back of Pat's neck. The Were lay next to him on the couch inside the bus, muzzle rested on top of his paws.

"So, what're you even doing here?" Pierre mumbled finally after an interminable silence had passed between them. Pat huffed as he flicked his tail. "Pat?"

His lip lifted away from his teeth his ears twitching. Needed to see you...

"Right," the vampire scowled. "Why?"

Pat growled low, tongue lolling between his canines. Do you really have to ask? His hackles raised beneath Pierre's calloused palm. The vampire pulled his hand away and rubbed it against his pants.

"Cool it," Pierre said, tightly. Then he bit at his bottom lip whilst the tantalizing scent of his friend's blood filled his nostrils. "I need..."

Pat looked expectantly at the other male. Pierre shook his head, roughly and got to his feet looking toward the concealed back room. The Were followed his gaze picking up on the aroma of female Were blood.

Damn it, Pierre...

Pierre sighed but made no move to explain himself, only muttered a lame apology. He left Patrick on the couch as he headed down the back, disappearing through the door.

Pat watched him go then growled softly as he laid his muzzle back on his paws and closed his eyes.
