“Mio Dio... Everything looks so small from up here.”

Jane smiled brightly as she shuffled down the hall toward her new room. The world around her was colorful and new, and even better than that, she knew her siblings were lounging about this wonderful palace somewhere. It had been so long since she had seen them, and even the letters from Ellie couldn't subside the feeling of wanting to experience those silly moments, and see them for herself. Her bags had grown a little heavy, and she wasn't really sure if she had lost her way, or was going in the perfect direction, but she found that asking for a little help might be the right thing to do. As she turned the corner, Jane looked to her right instead of who or what was in front of her, and bumped into someone, sending her backwards, then tripping, and landing on the floor. Slowly, she opened back up her eyes to see a person, and quickly stood back up to see if they were alright. "I'm so sorry! I didn't see you! Are you alright?"
"So, as much as I hate to admit that I'm lost, I'd really like someone to at least show me where a guy could have a little fun."

Dumping his last bag onto the gravel below him, the boy took his time to admire the castle in front of him. The structure resembled some type of architecture he'd see at home, however, it did not hold a candle to Notre Dame. There were no gargoyles crouching down to look at every single visitor, and the height was almost laughable compared to his old domains. But still, Zephyr could see the beauty in it. The windows and trim looked medieval, but allowed a certain feeling of comfort.
Slowly, Zephyr moved around the perimeter oft he castle, hoping to run in to somebody -- anybody. A smug grin appeared on his face when he allowed himself to slightly hope that the stranger he'd run into would be on the feminine side of the spectrum. The boy turned to look at his bags, laying untouched on the gravel in front of the building. He felt confident in the safety of them, as he figured everyone in this place has everything he does, if not more.
His pace grew faster as he turned the corner, finding himself in the back yard of the palace. Gardens, mazes, a lake, and a greenhouse were now in full view and Zephyr shrugged, finding himself very impressed with the adventures that were sure to take place. The high hopes he had set were surely being fulfilled.
He sat on the back steps of the palace, leaning back on his elbows, taking in the view before him.

"Okay Nate. Only one more day to go, and you've barely seen anyone, you can do this."
