"Really? Why thank you, Jans." He smiled. "Oh, I’m fine, just busy. Always in the library and such. How are you?"
"You're very welcome!" she giggled lightly. "I'm surprised I haven't run into you in such a long time! Just wonderful. I do wish Thomas and some of the others were here to complete our lovely group, but it's been very nice to see everyone."
"No, no, it’s fine." He waves a hand, "I was just arranging my books, you can borrow that if you want."
"Oh thank you! You've always had the best books." she said politely, "How have you been? I haven't seen you seen you since I arrived."
"I swear I placed my book on that table…"
"You mean this one?"
"Sorry Charlie..."

"I didn’t mean to fall asleep actually I’m thankful you woke me." He nodded with a smile. "You don’t have to worry, mademoiselle." He picked up his books that had fallen off of the couch onto the table.
”I’m Gil Bossu. What part of France are you from?” Her accent was undeniable and he was always glad to meet someone from his home country.
"You are very welcome then." she grinned, leaning down to help the man pick up his books. It was easy to see he'd fallen asleep. The couch was very comfy after all.
"Jane Beast. The southernmost part. How about yourself?" She was glad that he'd noticed her accent, always finding it magnificent to meet another new person from France that wasn't a member of her family.

"Thank you." He yawned and pulled himself up to a sitting position. He tried to make himself appear more presentable by running his hand through his hair. "I hope I haven’t disturbed your reading."
"My pleasure." She said politely, taking a seat beside him. "Oh, not at all! I just arrived here anyhow." She placed her books on the table, looking back at him once they were there. "I'm sorry if I disturbed your slumber."

He didn’t know how long he had been asleep in the library. He was jolted awake by the sound of someone entering the room. In a sleepy daze, he called out “Excusez-moi…do you know the time?”
Jane giggled a bit as she looked at a clock on a nearby wall. She hadn't expected anyone to be sleeping here. "Around 2 o'clock monsieur."

"Please, Janey, you’re baking has always been lovely."
"I'm not so sure about all that, but the batter sure tastes lovely!"
"Bonjour Caroline! It's been too long! How are you?"

"Hmmm... I don't know..."
"Ellie? I don't mean to bother you, and I know it's late, but I need to see you. Please?"
Ellie’s eyebrows furrowed, opening her door, “Janey? What is it?” She looked her up and down, “You don’t look hurt. You’re not hurt, are you? Do you want to come inside?”
Ellie’s hand was pressed against her chest from shock, and she wasn’t exactly sure how to feel. Should she be upset because Jane never told her and because Thomas was practically their brother, or if she should be happy for her. Her emotions were so conflicting,but she decided to go with the latter only because she didn’t want to lose her sister. She didn’t want her to think she was upset about it, because she really wasn’t. She was just confused and shocked. It was quiet between them, as Ellie wasn’t sure what to say. But when Jane said that they were getting married, she shook her head, “No.” She continued to shake her head, her eyebrows furrowed in confusion and worry, “No, absolutely not. You’re 17 years old… You can’t be married…” She took a deep breath in, her hand that was on her chest moved up to her forehead, “I don’t doubt you love him. You wouldn’t be with him if you didn’t, and I know that. But… But you just can’t get married. It’s too soon. And what will everyone else say?”
Jane looked to the floor in embarrassment. She wasn't sure if her sister hated her for her decisions, or if she was just disappointed. Maybe it was both, but she knew it had to be at least one. The silence was deafening, and she knew she had to break it sometime, and by telling her about the marriage, everything would finally be off her chest. Her mouth gaped slightly open as her elder sister told her she couldn't be married, and she shook her head herself. "Our own Mother was seventeen when she was married Ellie. I want the same for myself. Besides, Thomas is the man I love, I'd rather do this now then later." she sighed, twiddling her fingers. "It's not too soon. Three years is hardly too soon. And besides, no one will know about the marriage, so they won't speak of it. Not until a more proper wedding is planned later on. As long as you don't speak of it, we'll be okay."
THE WEDDING || Thomas & Jane
Thomas walked over and pulled himself onto Annabelle. He then held his hand out and pulled her up into his lap. Grabbing the reigns, he directed the horse back to the palace. After a quick ride, they arrived. He gently lowered Jane to the ground and then hopped off, leading Annabelle to her stall. “Alright. Now we’re ready.”
Jane giggled almost the whole way back. She couldn't believe she married to the most wonderful man anyone could ever meet. It felt like a dream. With Thomas's help, she plopped onto the dusty ground, waiting for him to return to her. Her stomach twisted in knots, but she was glad he had returned to her. "Now where would you like to go?" she asked sweetly, grinning up at him.
I wouldn't be too upset or anything. I mean, /you/ were the one who ended up with him in the end. You get him for forever now.
"I do don’t I? You’re right, I guess it wouldn’t be too bad after all…"
Who knows... Maybe? He is older than you, I wouldn't doubt it.
"He’s never mentioned anything, but he is older than me…perhaps he has…"
"Not that it would matter to me of course. I’d be perfectly fine."
I'll take that as a "yes". I would be pretty excited if I were you. He's certainly handsome and possibly a bit experienced.
"I refuse to confirm that, but he is handsome. And you mean he’s been with other girls before?"
How comfortable are YOU with all that?
"I-…hardly think that any of your business."
Frick fracking. You know, when two people get married, they usually get in bed together and do things.
"oh, Oh, OH! I ah-… well, I don’t know, we’ve-… never done those types of things before and I don’t know how comfortable he is with..uh..all that.."
THE WEDDING || Thomas & Jane
Thomas laughed and smiled. “Well we have to take Annabelle back to the stables so we would ride her there. You can sit in my lap and after we drop her off, I can carry you bridal style anywhere your heart desires.”
"Sounds perfect to me, Mr. Potts." Jane said, pecking his lips quickly before skipping over to until Annabelle from the tree. He was always Mr. Potts, but saying it now felt all the more special. She peeked over to him once she was finished, and giggled eagerly for him to hop on so she could join him.
Congrats on the wedding. Now time for frick fracking?
