DPT School Update
This term is relatively easy, but I am still working hard even on easy assignments. My goal is straight A’s this term and so far so good. A lot of group projects, but at the end of the day I have good groups which will result in good grades. I will find out where my internship site will soon which is exciting! I hope it’s close to my parents house because Lord knows I do not want to drive far af to a place everyday and I’m not even getting paid.
2 more weeks of 3rd term
As 3rd term slowly comes to an end I’d like to reflect on a few things:
Never take a reduced course load, you way too much time on your hands resulting in laziness resulting in grades you know you shouldn’t be getting
Classes are easier than you think they are if you just take your time to actually understand the material
I’m glad I had to retake ortho. I know the material better now and made some great friends like Erin, Vishal, and Sheen.
I’m barely passing neuro, but hey C’s GET DEGREES
Neuroscience
I don’t understand why I am having to label items on an actual brain.
Why am I drawing the tracts of the brain
I am not about to be a neuroscientist and identifying structures is not helping me learn this material.
A lot of thing about graduate school confuse me and I will never understand why we learn certain things the way that we do
FIN.
USCIENCES DPT PROGRAM AND A SCHOLARSHIP CRYING ALL I WANT IS TO GO TO COLLEGE ALREADY
mass general hospital institute of health professions dpt class of 2015 :) so happy!!
yet i'm suddenly petrified to leave here, the place i've come to call home the past four years, with the 3 roommates who have become my family. it's crazy how that happens. you're scared to leave home/high school because you don't think things will ever be the same. and then you meet even more amazing people and have the time of your life in college. and then a time comes when that, too, ends. and now i'm so scared to move back "home" and leave everything behind here. sometimes i just wish i could pause time..and live at my own pace. however, i'm so thankful to have been accepted into one of the best physical therapy programs in the country! and i'm also excited for that journey to begin.
