i would love to see ur interpretation of carmilla, if you want. i don't think i have seen a piece by you of her! :3
ok just for you 🤲🏻 as a treat
I've been getting into The Mechanisms fandom lately so I was scrolling through Tumblr for more information about Dr. Carmilla, this deeply fucked up evil woman who shows up in the backstories of the main characters, only to find out that she looks like THIS
Anyways I would like to go on record saying that Dr. Carmilla has done nothing wrong ever in her (un-)life and her experiments are totally ethical and fun.
Those rumors about her blowing up a planet and all those other crimes have been greatly exaggerated.
“Dr Carmilla mechanising the crew was nonconsensual for most of if not all the mechs and is a valid reason for them to hate her” and “Dr Carmilla mechanising the crew was well intentioned” are not mutually exclusive statements.
Free to use <3
All the mechanisms are in some way disabled, trans and homosexual/homoromantic and/or aro or ace. You cannot convince me otherwise.
It actually makes me really sad that there isn't a lot of fan content with Carmilla casually included. I included her in my mechs/iron lung crossover and got a comment like "wow i rarely see carmilla in stuff like this" and they're ... right. Why do we exclude her so much?
I decided to try making all the Mechanisms (and Carmilla) in Finch, so here’s how it went;
Our pilot, Drumbot Brian
Ashes O’Reilly, quartermaster
Gunpowder Tim, our master at arms
Baron Marius von Raum, ship’s doctor
Raphaella la Cognizi, science officer
Ivy Alexandria, our archivist
The Toy Soldier, who, as usual, is present
Your humble captain, Jonny D’Ville
Nastya, our engineer
And finally, Dr. Carmilla, who’s back after being sent out the airlock
