Not a pairing per se but Dr Champ and his character arc, and by extension his relationship with BoJack, has become a lot more interesting to me since I watched the show thanks to Elk and all 3 other people in the Dr Champ fandom

You know, rewatching Bojack stuff, one thing I cant help thinking? I've seen some people question whether Bojack ruined Dr Champ's life or not but I think the stronger question is....is Bojack in the wrong in that situation? Because, yeah, I can get the argument of "Bojack ruined his life" but....he did it by making him face the consequences of his mistakes. Bojack COULD have just kept his secret, but Bojack knows full well how not facing consequences for ones actions can make them do more stupid stuff and is trying to make sure he doesnt go down that path.

And some people might say "Well, he didn't ASK for Bojacks help.' Yeah. No shit. That doesn't mean he shouldn't have done what he did. Hell the very fact that he tried to get Bojack to keep it a secret shows he would've kept lying to his husband and his alcoholism until he did something stupid. And , its not like he couldn't try and SALVAGE things. He could talk to his husband and just tell him what happened and try and get help again. Get back on the wagon. Make their marriage work. Maybe try and keep his job or at least say he'd be back once he's sober. Or just EXPLAIN what happened. Instead he blames Bojack for EVERYTHING, even though the only he's guilty of are losing the Vodka and telling his loved ones and job the truth.

Honestly...Yeah. I've got nothing to add here. This is a solid argument involving Dr. Champ and how directly/indirectly Bojack was involved with his life.

Thoughts on Dr. Champ? (I hate that guy lmao)

Haha I totally get why you would hate him, but tbh I kinda… Felt bad for him?? Or better, for what Bojack did to him. It's one of the parts on season 6 that got me the most. My first thoughts was that he wasn't exactly the best therapist (well, he even said he wasn't one), but his design is really nice and I also liked his voice in the brazilian dub (that is the one I watched the most), so he got extra points to me. And omg… I wasn't expecting anything that happened with him after that. He was there to show how Bojack's actions sometimes have terrible consequences and he did a good job with it. I'll never forget how surprised I got when he appeared in Xerox of a Xerox (which is another GREAT episode btw, made me feel all kind of feelings) just to tell everything. In general, he's one of the character I feel mostly neutral about, but his role in the last season was a great idea.

He's also a character I surely have never drawn before:
