Doctor Frank Mott Edwards was born in 1865 in the small Lawrence County, Ohio village of Southpoint.

Edwards attended the Miami Medical College in Cincinnati. After graduating in 1895, he returned to Southern Ohio and set up practice in Portsmouth.

Edwards observed many of his patients undergo constipation. In college, he was educated about the dangers of auto-intoxication. Mercurous chloride was at that time a favored treatment for constipation. It was effective but produced a violent, explosive, and often painful purging of the bowels. It was also poisonous. Frequent users could lose teeth, hair, jaws, become paralyzed, go insane, or die.

Edwards sought a gentler and less deadly solution to treat his patients. He created a pill of aloe, Jamestown weed, maple root, cascara bark, and olive oil. The pills worked successfully for his patients.

Edwards began advertising and offering his laxative for sale. Dr. Edwards' Olive Tablets were first sold around 1909.

On each and every product of Dr. Edwards' Olive Pills was a dark green swastika. The true identity of the swastika has been lost to history. Prior to the Second World War, the swastika was a widely used and completely inoffensive decorative element. The geometric figure meant divinity and spirituality.

The rise of the Nazis in Germany after 1933 made the swastika untenable as a trademark. In 1936 the company altered the swastika image to a line drawing portrait of Dr. Edwards.

So i made this edit for the Grady bunch today go check it out on my twitter which is @beth_warriors

Soon after he replied to me, i then got the well known Erik Jenson (Dr Edwards) liking and retweeting my post too. 

this isn’t TD, but i thought i’d just show you that the actors are STILL liking and retweeting and follow up on TWD. why? if the grady story is over? hmm. I also tagged in officer Shepherd actress and the other cop Officer Licari. I hope they will too see this :).

Okay but when the fuck are they going to address what happened to Dr Edwards because I swear to goodness if they leave it as a loose end-

I’m really annoyed at the way they had Edwards handle the rapist guy. For 1. She got thrown againt the wall in a somewhat crowded hallway, but no one noticed. 2. She is IN A somewhat CROWDED HALLWAY, surrounded by doctors. with a scalpel pressed against her side. I do not believe she would think, “oh, there is utterly no way out of this, i’m going to go to a less crowded area with this guy to help him escape." I get she was scared and all, but she isn’t stupid. There were about a million ways out of that situation that were better options than the one she chose. Like, what the hell?!

But the scene where Norman and Dr Edwards are in the cafe together and Norman breaks down is one of the most chilling scenes of the season and Freddie really deserves an emmy, please give it to him!!!!!!!

New character based on an idea a friend of mine had.

Dr. Edwards is the professor everyone wants. He’s hilarious, always making science enjoyable, and is overall lovable. He’s a prestigious University professor by day, but by night, he puts on a very different character.

Nicholas Heffergeist is his name, and romance is his game! Mister Heffergeist is very rich (he always says that he has a day job when he’s asked, but never explains that he’s really a doctor), and is always throwing parties in his lavish mansion for one reason or another. Or maybe no reason at all. He just likes to party.

To clarify, he doesn’t have DID. Heffergeist is Edwards’ character that he likes to mess around with.
