On June 24, 2022, the original mad Dr Erhardt (J. Elvis Weinstein) captured the Satelite of Love from the year 3000 captained by Joel Robinson (Joel Hodgson). Joel set Tom Servo's voice back to his factory setting from KTMA era/season 1 Comedy Central (also J. Elvis Weinstein). It was the first time Joel was the host riffer since leaving the show with Mitchell in season 5 (October 23, 1993) and the first time J. Elvis riffed an official episode as a bot since Season 1 Comedy Central The Black Scorpion (February 3, 1990). The episode was directed by revival host Jonah Ray.
