So I’m writing Farb in a fanfic, is there anything I should do to make sure he stays in character/any subtle behaviors I should take into account?
He’s more normal than Orin so i’ve got that down, and his general personality is that he’s just like kindddd of an buttface but he’s not INSANELY awful.
I'd like to preface this with I was so happy to get this ask I ran around my room.
Ok so farb is actually not that bad of a dentist like at all,when Seymour comes to him he does the job and actually would have given Seymour novicain if he wasn't trying to intentionally hurt him
(He is really unhinged in the comic probably because this comic was made affter the musical/movie musical)
While he does "attack" people he only really does that if he has a reason like Seymour messing his stuff up and people not paying
He obviously doesn't do this to all his patients because mushnik tells Seymour to go to him and he's definitely been there before because he's obviously the only dentist in skid row.
Also this is a pretty big thing he calls everyone dogs??like he calls the guy running out a sniveling dog and tells Seymour that he's a bad dog and wags a finger at him.
I can't describe this but he talks in kinda a odd way like I guess more cartoony? It is obviously a 1960 film but he's like the only one who does it in the film. He also kinda talks with his fingers a bit like he wags his finger and points it at Seymour.
Also even though Seymour did not have a pleasant exspirnce with him he still like respects him (?)
Like he's the only person he gives like a send off to affter he dies,granted he's the only one he intracts with really and he still doesn't think he's that bad of a guy
But yeah that's a bit of farb and his silly little quirks
