Dr. Farb from the original movie is such a funny character. He's not exactly your stereotypically "evil" dentist character like Orin is. Seymour even says he wasn't a bad person, just a shitty dentist. He's also vindictive in some ways, since he wanted to torture Seymour just bc he fucked up his ferns 😭 also it's funny how accepting he is of Seymour casually trying to kill him, even getting excited to fight back lol

and he's a little freaky too but not in a sexual harrassment way so I appreciate that <3.

Phoebus Farb's deadname was Phoebe. He really loved the name and felt a little like he was gonna hurt his parents if he changed it to something entirely different. He looked like a very boyish little gal then, was both interested in things that were considered traditionally masculine and feminime (but more of the former), never in his life wore a dress, even when required, so his parents weren't WAY too surprised. I like to think they denied it at first but then understood, mostly were afraid of what others will think and that they could hurt him.

Plus Phoebus was the original name (if that makes sense), Phoebe is a feminized version of it (correct me if I am wrong).
