this took me so long and i still gotta make this a character sheet plus three more fuck my life

Drew this last year and started colouring it, but it’s becoming pretty clear that colouring isn’t going to get finished so I may as well post the lineart.

Dr Hex commits crimes based more on vibes than practicality or malevolence. Any vague interest and I will tell the rest of the blimp story.

Name: Daliah Widow

Nickname: Squirt, Rat, my widow, Dr Hex,

Species: Duck

Occupation: ex Shush. Bounty Hunter

Sexual orientation: lesbian

Ability: necromancy, nature control. Soul Puppet making.

Pet: a pet Tarantula named Fuzzy

Appearance : small albino duck with a chipped beak. Short pixie cut Silver while hair with pink highlights. Has a pink and black spider in her hair. Wears a gothic light blue, black and pink jacket and black pants. Wears open fingered gloves too. The jacket looks like it has spider webs on it. And a pocket for fuzzy her pet spider. Has unique red eyes and Wears glasses to hide the eyes due to being mocked for them.

Casual. Black spider web pants and pink top with stokings. Wears open fingered gloves and glasses to hide eyes. Has a pocket got her spell book and potions. Also has little pockets for the spider to rest.

As Dr Hex: she wears a long cloak with sleeves. She wears a plague doctors mask or a mask with skulls on it. . Wears gloves with spider silk look. Has a pocket for everything, silk, doll, book, pen…everything. Even a place for Fuzzy.

Info: born an albino duck and the oddball misfit, Daliah was not like her brothers or mother in the foundation of Shush. While her brothers were very cruel and abusive, she was more timid but acted mean to impress her family. She tended to be more kind and merciful…which ticked off her mother. When her mother passed Shush down to the three of them, she being the oldest was given a lot of mental and emotional abuse and made to be perfect. While her brothers were cruel, she was the one who would feel bad when eggheads were punished and she agents were hurt. Secretly tending to their wounds and helping them. But she grew up having a fake cold demeanor as well. She was very talented in necromancy and could talk to spirits. She also had a strange talent with puppet making. Her gift was used by her family and they forced her “ abuse, gaslighting and manipulation” to use her gifts to punish people like eggheads and agents. She hated it. Then, she had enough one day and tried to shut shush down by sending huge info to Bradford…( how she knows him is still in the air) which failed and her family took everything from her. Her freedom, her Humanity…her lover. After years of torment she snapped and when she did an inferno of hellfire was risen and shush realized too late she was a threat. Daliah is believed to be dead but now a new anti hero named Dr Hex is causing problems, killing Shush agents and kidnapping eggheads.

Other info:

Daliah has a tarantula named fuzzy who rides on her shoulder or hides in her pockets. Very protective of her.

Along with Daliah or Dr Hex. She has an assistant with her. Mortimer was an egghead who fled shush and Hex found him beaten to near death and dying. She healed him and he is now working for her.

Daliah is very ill tempered despite her gentle nature. She can blow up quickly if she is at the point of no return. She has to be locked up by mom if she snaps. She wants a perfect daughter and sees her emotions as a problem.

She has grown claustrophobic due to all the times being locked up. She can talk to spiders and they are like the mice from Cinderella.

When she was born everyone was horrified and thought she was dead…then they thought she was cursed. But they soon capitalized on her abilities as she grew up.

Her mom made her obedient at a very early age. After an ‘incident’ where Daliah got scared and hurt her mom after her mom tried to beat her. That NEVER happened again.

Daliah actually is more friends with the eggheads though her mom hates it since they are ‘ replaceable’

Her girlfriend Lucia is actually an egghead. The girlfriend and her brother Tom were kinda forced to work for shush as a business deal between their families. Their drunk mom sold them off to shush at a young age.

Her mom was NOT approving of the relationship and has tried to make Lucia’s job worse and super busy…but her and Daliah can never be apart….well, until her death.

So, her puppet making talent is part of the necromancy. She basically can use a drop of blood from a person and an enchanted string and needle to do this. Dip the blood in the needle, say a few words and then use an old doll. When she sews a symbol on the doll, the person can feel and see the mark. Once done the person is under their control. Her mom 100% makes her do this, she hates doing this. But she’s scared of her mom…since her mom can do this too and has threatened to sew Daliah’s mouth shut like a doll. Now…the spell can be broken. If you burn the symbol on the doll with a special brew and holy water it should free the person…but it depends. The person can go through ptsd and have issues mentally after.

Another round of Superhero x Supervillain doodles, featuring some cute dating-your-nemesis moments, a few compromises, and designs for Starsong’s nemesis-she’s-not-gonna-smooch.

Might go back and finish that top one, or at least throw on some colours.

Fleshing out my superhero 'verse with some additional superheroes. Together with Starsong, they form the Hand of Justice, the 'verse's Justice League/Avengers expy. Write-ups under the cut, though it's all pretty rough and prone to alterations.

Lightstorm: A sentient spacecloud/xenoanthropologist, stranded on Earth in a humanoid shell when she chose to save people during a natural disaster and basically missed her ride home. She expects the next pick-up window to be in about 100 years, and has decided to protect and study Earth in the meantime. Powers of flight, energy beams, superior strength/speed/senses, and holographic disguise using alien technology. Her outer shell is nigh indestructible, protecting the spacecloud inside, but if cracked she's rendered unable to use it until it's repaired. Curious, formal, tries to follow human laws and moral principles at all times as a courteous guest. J'onn J'onzz crossed with Wonder Woman.

Major Justice: Military supersoldier experiment gone right, though the casualty rate was too high to justify making more of him. A career soldier and true believer in The American Way, which to him involves protecting the interests of the government and corporations, while also offering humanitarian aide abroad. Super strength/speed/senses, highly enhanced healing, and access to an arsenal of "less-lethal" guns and munitions. Strict, rigid moral absolutist with little to no sense of humor, he genuinely believes himself to be doing the right thing. Captain America crossed with homegrown Captain American villains like Super-Patriot and Americop.

Wildfire: Small-town highschool football star turned private experimental test subject for cash. Some dubiously ethical science gave him fire powers and also burned down the lab. 100% okay with using his superpowers for personal gain, definitely does product endorsements on his instagram and the like. An agreement with the US government lets him receive money legally as Wildfire and still keep his identity secret from the general public. General fire-related superpowers, including rocket flight. Mostly a smarmy asshole playboy, but he does secretly send money back home to help family and highschool friends out of poverty. Booster Gold crossed with one of the smarmier Flashes crossed with the worst Green Lantern.

The Silver Sword: A jet setting bored entrepreneur until his grandfather's death brought him to his ancestral home in China, where he became the new master of a magical dāo sword and the responsibilities it came with. Uses a combination of magically-imbued martial arts skills and custom-built tech to fulfill his destiny as a protector. Generally stern but with a secret, dry sense of humor. Keeps up his rich-boy persona as a secret identity and source of income. Batman crossed with The Iron Fist, minus the awkward white savior connotations.
