I love how in Cure we have a female cartoony character and she gives off a body positive vibe. These Fanganronpa games are far better than the canon games.

Yeah she’s easily one of my favourite characters in Kill/Cure so far! It’s so refreshing to see some deviation from the standard Danganronpa Lady Same Face Syndrome designs, haha. More Sakuras and Chikumas in the future, please.

But the important question is will she actually buck the trend for cartoony characters being unceremoniously killed off early? God I hope so 😰😰

Thoughts on Danganronpa Kill/Cure?

I got another ask about my thoughts on the characters’ designs and personalities, but I haven’t had time yet to check them out in detail.

The idea sounds super fun so I definitely want to do it!

Let's hope Cure won't kill off a majority of its female characters by the 4th chapter, while not doing much with their male characters and giving them plot armour. I've also noticed how some of the Animo DR V3 redos, Shuichi's still a survior for some reason. They're wasting a perfectly good plot of a killer detective or the detective being killed off.

🙏🙏 They all seem super interesting to me so I hope at the very least the ones who die early get a good send-off and a fair amount of them survive til later/the end and stay relevant! Although the guys all seem mostly interesting as well. I’m really excited and curious to see how this fangan’s gonna turn out! It’s a really stand-out cast, for sure.

I guess people just try and stick with the canon characterization when it comes to rewrites, which IS a fair stance to take… but also yeah, that sounds really boring! He’s better off dead c’mon guys. Let other characters take the stage they didn’t get the chance to take in the actual V3.

A New Danganronpa Saga
