L: - You.. you are the man that i saw with Miss Deirdre on the backyard... Who are you?

...: - I’m an old family friend, i’ve live here enough to see my petite Deirdre become a strong woman... I still love her but over the years she has become so useless .. But not anymore... Thanks to you. You see... she has gotten so much better since you reduce her injections... you saw her walk and talk a couple of hours ago...non? Why not suspend the injections at all?

I simply fainted, I had never fainted in my life, the only thing I can remember was her voice and the powerful buzz of the bees, a buzz that penetrated my head and made everything heavy...

Chapter I - The Sleeping Beauty

As I crossed the porch I saw a man next to her, in the Old Oak where she used to sit, he had an arm on the back of her chair and it was evident that he was talking to her. He was a tall man, brown hair, rather thin with very elegant clothes. I felt a strange satisfaction to see that scene because it was the first time that i saw someone visiting Deirdre and although i felt an impulse of anger because that unknown man was talking to my patient without my permission, i also felt great desire to know him. I thought maybe that man could explain things that none of the aunts could explain to me. Surely he was a good friend. There was something intimate about the way he was leaning toward my silent patient.

Luckily, Viola found me on the floor, fainted, delirious, she told me that the heat had affected me but the weather was cool and calm. And I had seen Miss Deirdre get up and talk before passed out but none of that mattered ... Maybe was an ilusion, maybe was my mind playing games..
