Disclaimer: The Young Gods DR involves all religious pantheons and mythologies from our CR and also incorporates concepts that come from both the Jujutsu Kaisen and Percy Jackson series. I wanted to give credit where credit is due, so shout out to Gege Akutami and Rick Riordan for their incredible world-building and to the ancient storytellers who have gifted us the mythologies we all know today.

I WAS WAITING FOR SOMEONE TO ASK, it's one of my favorite DRs yet <3

-> So in this DR, Attack on Titan is a live action TV series that is extremely famous worldwide. We are talking historic. To give you an idea, it has won all of the awards it has been nominated for, giving it the title of one of the few TV series in the world to possess a "perfect all-kill".

-> You most likely are wondering which character I am in the show, so using the picture below, take a guess as to who I play. Do they look familiar? :)

-> The cast is much more diverse in race/ethnicity in this DR: actors for Eren, Connie, Ymir, and Levi are all people of color. And I think it goes without saying that we know Mikasa, Onyankopon, and I are people of color too. As a result, I've made some changes in the AOT storyline to... accommodate our existence. (You can't make me work in a white-dominated workspace LOL)

-> Additionally, the age difference between certain actors aren't that pronounced as they are in the show. Take me, for example: my character is considerably older than most members of the 104th Training Corps in canon. However, in real life, their actors are anywhere from my age to three years younger. I intended that because I wanted to hang around with the cast without having to take on a "mentor" role.

-> It is common for actors, in this DR, to use their real name as a stand-in for their character name if the writer did not have particular names in mind or are open to using stand-ins. However, there is a policy that you can only use a stand-in once in your acting career (mainly to avoid confusion and copyright claims). Actors typically reserve their names for a project they know will sell well, so that way they are able to get their name out into the open.

-> Funnily enough though, very few of the AOT actors use their real name:

-> That being said, we often call each other by our character names for simplicity!

-> Much like my character (and my CR self for that matter), I'm very science-oriented in my DR! And since I've studied human physiology and anatomy in that DR, I get to help Isayama "accurately" flesh out titan biology and the general worldbuilding behind how they came to be.

-> ODM gear is dangerous and very precise measures are taken to make sure that our stuntsmen don't experience extreme whiplash when operating it. We don't want workplace accidents, after all! That being said, there are some of us on set who are comfortable performing our own stunts; namely Levi, Jean, Connie, Mikasa, and I.

-> There's going to be a spin-off series that goes deeper into the backstories of Levi, Hange, and Erwin! I can't wait to film that because my brother gets to act with me. He's actually on the CGI/animation team for the original AOT series, but he does voice acting on the side, so Isayama was like "sure why not?" and casted him as one of my character's two brothers.

-> Personality wise, all actors have what I would call the best aspects of their characters. For example, Eren's actor does have quite the willpower when it comes to grinding out his scenes, Armin's actor is well articulated during interviews, and Mikasa has a set record for being the actor with the most scenes shot in one take out of all of us.

shifting question!!! I wanna know what your favorite shifting methods are and what DR you’re shifting to? Also I really love your blog and how you cancel out the limited beliefs!!

My favorite shifting method would probably be setting an intention and then going to sleep. For example: "I can't wait to see the sunrise here tomorrow morning." And "here" obviously refers to whichever DR I'm intending to shift to.

It requires very minimal effort and is way more straightforward than the raven method I used to attempt shifting with (starfish position my beloathed). No hate to those who use that method, of course. It's just not the one for me.

As for the DR I'm shifting to, it's my Villanueva University DR! I have an information page here that I'm gradually updating. If I had to summarize what the DR is about it's a dark academia college DR crossed with crime fighting and family / school politics.

Also thank you! I'm always happy to cancel out the limiting beliefs that don't serve us :)

Oh I got really excited seeing you and others on your blog also having AOT DRs!! I’ve only seen two other people who’ve provided their experiences there so I’m glad that there are others now. I have both an original DR and college DR as well, although I scripted in a lot of other events and things into the plot of the original one because I wanted to be more of the “main character” or relevant person I guess, otherwise it would seem hard to insert myself in the plot and not be a background character in my own DR, you know? I think that is the place I’m shifting first after my Cyberpunk/Futuristic inspired DR, since I’m permashifting and I plan to stay there for a very long time before I move onto the next DR!! Could you tell us more about your DR?

Haha, I'm glad you were able to find us! AOT has quite a riveting world with all sorts of interesting people; it's no wonder why we all gravitate towards it as reality shifters.

To stray a little away from AOT though, I'm very curious about your Cyberpunk / Futuristic DR! What inspired you to pursue that reality? Are you planning on having any high paced adventures there? What cool technology are you thinking of gearing yourself up with? Given the cyberpunk aesthetics, such a world revolving around it sounds so fun.

Alright, now back to my AOT (Actor's Ver.) DR!

-> Before we do our table reads, every cast member places their bets on who they think will die next.

-> There's one giant group chat that has all the main character actors + Isayama in it and we send each other funny posts we come across online about the show.

-> Eren and Connie's actors are menaces to society both on and off set. I'm serious, most of their antics drive Isayama up the wall (pun fully intended).

-> Erwin's actor is one-armed! Isayama originally wrote Erwin to have lost his arm in an off-screen expedition, but Erwin's actor suggested to make it on-screen instead.

-> Sasha, Ymir, and Connie's actors host a Youtube channel where they post AOT reaction videos. Sometimes, they'll feature "guests" (other AOT actors) to join them!

-> We have a "reverse" AU photoshoot where all Eldian main characters dress in the Marleyan uniform while the Marleyan main characters wear the Survey Corps one.

-> There's a TikTok edit of me in S4 that goes absolutely viral across the world <33 (it shot up viewership for all seasons of AOT, much to the surprise of streaming sites).

-> Many of our actors are close friends with actors from other "anime" (e.g Jujutsu Kaisen, Dungeon Meshi, Demon Slayer, My Hero Academia, etc.) which is cool!

-> Over the course of each season, we do Q&A panels to answer fans' questions as either ourselves (as actors) or as our characters.

-> Mikasa's actress actually lost the original red scarf, but no one knows (except me). She quietly replaced it and she's not going to reveal this secret until end of S4 LOL.

-> I freestyled the scene where Hange breaks stuff in frustration and Levi walks in. Levi's actor, God bless the man, took it in stride and responded perfectly in character.

𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐑𝐎𝐃𝐔𝐂𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐋𝐄𝐆𝐀𝐂𝐘 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐆𝐑𝐀𝐌. From Kaikeyi's Villanueva University DR

The League of Exceptionally Gifted, Academic, and Cultured Youth is an international society devoted to sponsoring the prodigies and virtuosos of the world. In order to join this league, one must be randomly invited to undergo a rigorous training regiment before participating in an year-long tournament, where ten students are selected to win a full ride scholarship as well as connections to whatever career path they choose to pursue.

There is a criteria to meet, however, in order to qualify for the random selection:

You must be enrolled as an undergraduate student at a LEGACY sponsored academic institution. You must be in your second year at the time of your invitation. You must be in good academic standing.

The training involves several general education exams, research projects, and team-building exercises. While it is not mandatory for participants to attend every single training session, a performance report predicting the likelihood of winning the future tournament is based on the performances of ALL training sessions and eventually sent out to everyone after their training has been concluded. This report does not actively eliminate participants from the competition, but it tends to discourage a significant amount of students from pursuing the tournament nonetheless.

The tournament itself consists of the following assessments:

Running a Class - Gauges the extent of a participant's academic knowledge, their ability to share and present ideas effectively. Switching Fields - Gauges participant's adaptability, ability to research, and their rate of knowledge absorption. Collaborative Projects (e.g. Product Design) - Gauges participants' combined teamwork, time management, humility, and creativity. Competitions (e.g Jeopardy, Quizbowl, Speech and Debate) - Gauges teamwork, performance under pressure, sportsmanship, strategy techniques. Senior Thesis - Gauges ability to utilize the skills that were honed from the aforementioned tournament rounds.

MISCELLANEOUS INFORMATION:

LEGACY supported institutions are renowned for not incurring tuition/housing + additional institutional-based fees until after you have graduated. Therefore, you can technically take any classes you want, but you are on the hook to pay for each one of them after you graduate (you can still use financial aid to pay if you cannot do so out of pocket). These institutions are very selective when it comes to admitting students. Still, students are chosen honorably and fairly (affirmative action is employed, for example, rather than sticking to purely student merit). A LEGACY sponsored university will cycle through different faculty members each year to help facilitate their training regiment. In the actual tournament, however, LEGACY sends its members (usually an administration team from the nation's headquarters) to help host and lead. This is done to limit bias, as the members sent are likely unaware of who the contestants are. The LEGACY program hosts spectacular dinner events to help ease tensions between students and forging connections between students and professors. Many people have acquired longstanding friendships from these events. LEGACY sponsored institutions have had to employ strict enforcement of "sportsman behavior" in the past. We are talking law enforcement. Relevant cases include lander and libel regarding a student's "relationship" with a professor that were not true or the sabotage of a student's project. The history of LEGACY is full of mystery. No one knows where the idea of such a program came from, how and when it came to fruition, or who the first mastermind behind it was. It was like LEGACY had been a secret society all along, suddenly coming to light in different nations at the same time. All we know about LEGACY is its purpose: to help advocate for the bright minds of our world.
