... one of these days I'm gonna stop buying a new piece of music equipment every two goddamn weeks. But today isn't that day. Because I finally got my paws on something I've actually wanted for a looonngg while. Specifically, an ol' Boss DR-110! A rad little analog drum machine from 1983 that actually holds the distinction of being Roland's last all-analog drum machine (yes the 909 came out about a year after the DR-110, but that thing was actually a hybrid of analog voices and digital samples. Not a completely analog machine like the DR-110).

But yes! Like I said I've been interested in nabbing one of these for a long while. And, lo and behold, last night while browsing Craigslist I found out that one of my local Music Go Round shops had one. So I rushed out and bought it. Didn't wanna miss the chance to finally have one. And good god the thing is in immaculate shape. Apparently it was brought in by an employee of a different Music Go Round who bought it brand new in the 80's and just kinda had it sitting around since. So I got lucky condition wise!

And of course, I had to pair it with my Korg Volca Bass. Since that's the obligatory synth I use to test these things (also since it's one of my favorite synths I own). So have some cheesy late-80's acid-ey crap to go along with my DR-110.
