Bored and Can't Do What I Want
Sitting in a 2-hr Board meeting tonight and being bored out of my mind, I played with an AI generator. I hate that the meeting took time away from writing, but at least playing in AI image generator is simple enough that I could focus on it and the meeting at the same time. 😊
I chose to go back to Daddy Remembers 9, Chapters 7-9 where Samantha had her 9th birthday at the beach, gets tickled under the table during dinner, and Kate and John hook up for the first time. 28-year-old Kate in her white sexy bikini is the inspiration for tonight's AI tinkering.
These two images below are the better of the myriad of images that came out, but are only inspirations for Kate. Face isn't what I picture in my own head and her hair is actually a little more "strawberry" than the blonde here. But still... yum...

Donna Pierson - Continued
More about the inspiration of of the character Donna....
So, when coming up with a kick-ass and no-nonsense female colleague for our main character, my mind immediately went to the character Donna Paulson from the TV series 'Suits' played by the amazing actress Sarah Rafferty.

If you've never seen the show, Donna Paulson is a classy, wicked-smart, kick-ass, beautiful, and sexy secretary/personal assistant for the firm's top lawyer. She stands confidently in this high-pressure environment and goes toe-to-toe with biggest, most egotistical, alpha male characters in the show - and puts them in their place. I wanted her for the DR series! ...but slightly different, of course.
I actually tried to NOT use the name "Donna." I pored over a 1000 name list trying to come up with something else, but every other name I came up with just didn't seem right for the character I wanted. (Maybe I just love the show 'Suits' too much. 😆)
I also needed a last name and as I went through another long, long list of last names trying to match it with "Donna" and my character... the one that stood out the most is "Pierson."
Now, coincidentally enough, this is a happy accident as the leading female lawyer in 'Suits,' played by the incredible actress Gina Torres, and her character is just as smart and strong leading the firm and all these alpha-dog men - her character name is Jessica Pearson. 😊 So, no wonder I liked the name "Pierson" so much! 🤣
So, my Donna Pierson (keeping the alternate spelling) is an amalgamation of the these two amazing and wonderfully strong characters with my own nuances to her.

I posted previously an AI image or two of Kate in a bikini, but they were clearly AI-generated.
So, here are some live models that I've found who inspire the character of Kate. None really have the strawberry-blonde hair that I envision Kate having, but I think you can imagine well enough. 😆

Age: At the beginning of the Series (DR 7), she is 26yo (3 yrs younger than John, 12 years younger than her husband Bill)

With John and Alexia moving into the neighborhood and Lexi being best friends with Samantha, Kate "adopts" them both. She and John become good friends and is a surrogate mom to Alexia since Alexia's mother is no longer in the picture. Kate recognizes the good guy John is which highlights the deficiencies with husband, Bill. With mixed emotions and knowing she deserves better from her husband, she still tries to make it with Bill - especially for the kids' sake and preserving all the time and effort into their marriage that was once good and loving.
