In order to save their family from depts Corvus's sister decided to take the offer of a wealthy man, knowing that her dreams will be ruined that way.

Corvus had to intervene, but he missed the weeding because of his teacher's funeral. He never gave himself a right for excuse. This situation led to a series of unfortunate events for his family, only intensifying Corvus excruciating guilt for his family misfortune
