The whole point of her backstory is being unrealistic. A fellow NASA employee of Xeno. Esquel went to college at age 10 (yeah I know, not realistic)Her parents divorced when she was 5, her stepfather hates her.This kid has a too trusting nature so she becomes an easy target for manipulation and bullying. That's why she looks emotionless, its social armor.So she ran away to her aunt. And went to college.Her roll in Xeno's kingdom is a machenic. At the start she's 23 years old, at the end of the series she's almost 30.
