Scrapper 4 da headcanon thang

SCRAPPERFor those who don’t know, Scrapper is this little fella -- from Mother/Earthbound Zero

1.Scrapper’s in their prime were the shiniest and most advanced hunk of metal in all of America. Dr. Distorto was so proud, probably.2.They have two eyes, but they’re aligned vertically and the top one only activates when battle is initiated. It can target and fire PK Beam as well see over higher walls that it’s regular eye just can’t quite see over.3. Scrapper is now an older model so it doesn’t have the ability to go into battle mode by itself, so one must manually access it’s front panel to initiate it. Which is an actual pain in the ass, so most of the time Dr. Distorto will just leave a couple around on all the time, which can sometimes lead to some unwanted conflict throughout the factory but what’re you gunna do.4. Ninten’s dad took one look at it and decided it was worth 38 dollars, but it took around 300 dollars and a little love to make.5. Dr. Distorto keeps a Scrapper around him at all times incase of psychic kids and he also gets very lonely.6. Scrapper was made with a very basic AI, but over time they have learned a lot and their ‘mind’ has expanded. They cannot talk, however, so they’ve learned how to communicate by manipulating a few lights on their chest plate. The green light means positive and the red light means negative.7. There are many Scrappers, but they all share a hivemind. So if one Scrapper finally goes, it’s not the biggest deal because Scrapper is all of the robots. They all also have a SubAI that allows basic individual functions such as self preservation and damage specific care.8. The newer models, the Old Robots (which are also outdated, but less so than the Scrappers) have a hivemind as well, but it is not compatible with the Scrapper’s. This has led to conflict within the robot community. Dr. Distorto just rolls his eyes because he literally just does not care.9. All robots hate the Bomber robots. Dr. Distorto also hates the Bomber robots. Why did he make the Bomber robots. Scrappers tend to get the job of cleaning up after the gratuitous explosions caused by the detestable Bomber robots.10. All of the Scrappers do their best to protect Dr. Distorto, sometimes to a fault. Many models have broken in their ceaseless mission. Dr. Distorto keeps up with all of them and eventually gets kind of worried about the quickly depleting numbers. He’s lost the files that go along with them, so if Scrapper is to live on they need to be careful.THIS WAS FUN. THANK YOU, BUD.
