Since I’m in the mood to post my cosplays, here’s me last year as Dr. Girlfriend/Mrs. The Monarch from The Venture Bros.! I’m squinting so aggressively in these pictures because the sun was incredibly bright and I had so much freaking makeup on my eyes that I was having trouble keeping them open.

Dress and hat made from scratch (Twas my first time making a dress!); wig was an old one from my homestuck days that I restyled. I wore this at C2E2 2025—tons of people recognized me and took pictures, it was great! I wore it again this year with more accurate makeup and earrings but didn’t get any pictures because I was not feeling well the last two days of that convention. Tons of people took pictures of me though and I’m sure I’ll find them on the internet a year later (because there’s actually a picture of my costume that was posted to some comics blog in 2025 and it’s a terrible picture but it shows up on the front page of google which is cool).

I got a new pair of gloves for the costume that I’ll probably debut at next year’s convention.
