Fringe - Episode 1x01 "Pilot"

Generally Speaking: I had wanted to watch the show for a while now, and that was before I even knew POB was gonna be in the pilot. With the added incentive, I fired up my TV and dug into it. So this is the new X-Files, is it? Can't say I'm crazy about the show after the pilot, but it seems like something worth looking into. Where POB is concerned, he plays a doctor in the hospital treating one of the FBI agents.

POB Factor: He has two scenes, and barely more than three lines. I'd say his screen time amounts to less than a minute. The episode was 90 minutes long, so do the math. My Recommendation: Well... If you're only checking this out for POB, I can only say it's less than worth it because his part is tiny. If you're interested in a quality TV show about paranormal investigations, then it's probably worth taking a look.

Interesting things I saw at the grocery today

A married couple who's cart was filled with Tropicana, potato chips and some vegetables. They kept blocking the aisles cause they were arguing on which way to go. I honestly think they were lost at some point.

A little street kid who was trying to buy himself some hair gel. He was with his little sister who kept on talking about how he should put up his hair and spike it in different directions while the little kid's eyes shifted from the change he was holding in his hand to the various prices of gel displayed on the shelf.

My former principal who totally high-fived me (she misinterpreted me waving to her as me wanting to give her a high-five, so we high-fived. True story you guys. My mom saw the whole thing.)

Two security guards, who apparently are also drinking buddies, planning to go out drinking that night. The conversation was pretty funny.
