Ringo grinst.
Title: Accidentally in Love

Word Count: 672
Characters: Alexandria Martin, Kise Ryouta
Summary: Kise had been one of her few friends in Japan and someone Alex grew to care deeply about. One day in the modeling studio might just change all that.
Drabble Meme: I'll write our characters falling in love
"Quit moving!" Alex insisted, using a sharp tone she normally only used in situations involving young children. However, the way Kise was acting right now, he could definitely be considered a child. The tight line her lips pursed into trembled as the corners threatened to reveal a smile. God, it was so hard to stay mad at him when he had that goofy look evaporating all reminisce of her anger. "Kise! C'mon! Quit squirming!"
Despite her efforts, the girl resorted to turning away when her smile peaked through, unwilling to give him the satisfaction of knowing his childish antics were forgiven. No words needed to be exchanged for the two to agree that Kise won... for now.
Meanwhile, Kise sat upon the stool apparently finding great amusement from the way Alex was fussing about his makeup and hair trying to style it for the next series of photos. Every time she glanced away, he would run his fingers through it and leave a mattered mess, smudging his makeup in the process. They had to have been at this for a minimum of twenty minutes at this point.
Groaning, she narrowed her eyes at Kise, attempting to ignore that stupid lopsided grin of his. "You know you're enjoying it," he pointed out as she leaned over. Their face inches from one another, the only way to ease Alex's task of fixing his makeup. His gaze trailed down the edges of her face. His lopsided beam falling into a soft smile. For a moment, their eyes met and a silence fell between them.
"No, you're the only one who finds this enjoyable," she muttered, adding more foundation and now trying to avoid eye contact. If her blue orbs met his vibrant yellow ones, Alex's cheeks would persist in turning a bright shade of red. She wasn't exactly fond of her blush. It betrayed her secrets way too easily and truth be told, she hated how they'd flare up whenever Kise was around. It was hard enough learning to control her quickness of breath and increased heart rate around the older boy, but at least those things were as visibly noticeable. "C'mon. I'm not taking my eyes off you. You're helping my friend Emma out with her fashion portfolio and we need to get this done right and in a decent amount of time."
Kise chuckled at her irritation and upon reaching up to brush his bangs away from his eyes, his finger graced the tips of Alex's fingers. The action seemed to have stun them equally. He kept still. The tension between the two never wavered as their eyes locked.
When she was younger, people used to tell her that you knew when love hit you, that love was absolutely possible at first sight. But, no. Alex couldn't help but disagree. The closest thing she could find that would do this overwhelming feeling justice was a quote by one of her favorite authors, John Green. He described the love between the two main characters like falling asleep, little by little, then all at once.
The immense heat in her cheeks was unbelievable and it lead her to assume that she was currently a shade of hot red. Kise's hand began to move away from hers and triggered a small sense of disappointment. She dropped her gaze and was prepared to step back. However, he traced the line of her jaw until he cupped the bottom of her chin so she couldn't pull her eyes away. All he did was give her one of his genuine smiles, not one he posed when modeling, but his real smile.
It was as if the entire world choose to mute itself for a single moment and here and now. A moment within in time where the earth fell absolutely silent for two rather unimportant people. But it existed, nonetheless, even only if it was there for him and her.
It'd be their little secret: the moment that changed everything for the best. No one else had to know.
