pairing: Raqio x Remnan

warning: Raqio unintentionally friendzones Remnan smh; slight spoilers for the end of Gnosia!

"…hey, Raqio?"

"Yes, Remnan?"

After escaping Liu-An and the Gnosia outbreak, the two found themselves on Gliese, Raqio's home. Raqio sauntered through like they owned the place, with Remnan cowering behind.

"Um… I…"

"Just spit it out, Remnan."

"S-sorry… I just… thank you."

"You're thanking me? Well, I deserve to be thanked all the time, but what for?"

"I… I'm grateful that you… brought me here with you…"

"Well, of course. We're friends, hm?"

A sudden pang passed through Remnan. He was glad Raqio saw him as a friend, but… he couldn't help but hope for more. Maybe one day…

Or, Yìchén saves Zandik from getting bullied from upperclassmen.

"You won't last a day here, Zandik."

Yìchén paused and eyed the group standing around a blue-haired boy his age.

"Half of the work at the Akedemiya requires cooperation," the group leader sneered. "Everyone here knows how sadistic you are in your experiments. No one's going to want to work with a monster like you."

Before he knew it, Yìchén was at the other teen's side. "Zandik, I've been looking everywhere for you!"

"...Who-"

Yìchén led them away from the group, a sly grin curled on his mouth. "Come now, we have much to discuss. We are friends, after all..."

AN: I'm writing these drabbles out of chronological order, and this is one of the final few, so this one was a tad rough. I do have other "Pantalone at the Akedemiya" fics (one right now) in the drafts, so I do plan to revisit this AU in the future and give it some more love. Thank you for reading if you did <3
