Hey so the reason why people would be offended by self-shipping with Penny would be because he's seen as this homophobic child molester. At the same time, Penny is a fictional character, and I'm assuming a lot of people who like him/them are referring to the 2017 version. I understand both sides but at the same time... it's a movie. It's not like people who ship themselves with actual serial killers. Idk *shrugs*

well yeah he’s interesting as a character and i could write a whole rant about that but in short it’s just like.. he’s cool on the surface level and i always had an aesthetic for monsters like him (the 2017 version that is, with the shape-shifting and stuff)

and when it comes to homophobia it’s just??? why? he killed a gay man because he was an easy prey - scared and convinient, there could be literally any other person in his place and pennywise would still kill them

and yeah i understand if people think it’s nasty i think i’m nasty myself but i can’t stand people who just start yelling and blocking but that’s just the way tumblr is i guess
