There's a steep price for breaching 100+ in magic. There's a reason that people like Ninianne willingly degraded from being outright divine.

House Corbenic/the Grail Guardians would mostly be in the 50s and 60s as they're also mostly still human. The less 'human', the higher their affinity would be... although they're mostly using divine theurgy instead of fae magicry over there.

​That's the "Demo" (aka the first free chapters that CoG allows the reader to play before you hit the pay wall for the full game. Once the game gets submitted for publishing, that's the only part publically available anymore). The demo is for promotion only.

I'm basically using itch.io to act like the "Demo" (which will cut off in the middle of Chapter 4 which is pretty typical for CoG demos) directing itch.io players to the Public Open Beta on my website (which would be the version of the game all of you would be more familiar with).

The Open Beta (for public beta testing) on my website will be going longer than four chapters... to probably about 2/3rds of the way through the game before it switches to the Closed Beta only for the final 1/3rd.

​That's sort of where the previous two Changeling MC drabbles were heading. Right into Yandere territory. And thus Yandere Adrian is getting his vengeance now.

Also keep in mind, the Free Time Hub will be coming around for every chapter from now on. Although the later chapter will also open up a couple more things (hanging out with the ROs who hadn't joined yet being one example of such)

I just wanted to say that today I dreamt that Cassandra was the saboteur and she and my Fae!MC got into a fight in the middle of a cave, I think during the Lesser Circle ritual.

Let's just say my MC reacted violently to Cassandra and revealed some Fae instincts (I don't remember if Cassandra survived in the dream or not), with Adrian right there watching it all.

I also think that in the dream Cassandra was the reincarnation of someone, but I don't remember.

But I'm serious, author, I had this dream. I'm doing so much One Knight Stand theory that it's already affected my brain chemistry. I also decided to share it in case it was a prophetic dream. 🔮

Well, there's a cavern mentioned in the Chapter2-5 update, so who's to say? Although it's buried in one of the many, many, many branches of the museum reconnaissance, so good luck digging it up.

It is actually possible: Start the game being friends (or crush) with Adrian and having a good relationship status with him. Before the end of Chapter 1, when the game asks if you want to change your relationship with him, choose that your MC thinks he is a Stalker, but continue to have good interactions with him. So your character will notice Adrian's suspicious actions, but Adrian will continue interacting with your MC as if MC were his friend (As long as you continue to interact with him in a friendly manner). It worked for me 🫡

An MC who starts with a good bond with Adrian and then re-evaluates him into a stalker might have Adrian acting friendly (and the MC outwardly acting friendly if they're being two-faced), but they're also getting all the "nasty stalker!" and "we used to be friends but no more!" mental flavor text from the MC.

So, it's not going to have a very friendly atmosphere there.
