five word prompts || Accepting!
She wanted to believe her words, she just had to trust in all her friends and hope that everything turned out all good in the end. Though a part of her was worried about her friends so that voice in the back of her head kept bugging her.
“You’re right. We just gotta trust the others to make it back okay, like they always have!”

//Another memory, hmm… Okay so, I used to be in Girl Scouts, and when I was a Cadette, my troop was having a pizza party at I think a Round Table?
Anyways, one of the older girls held up a rather floppy jalapeno and went, “this pepper needs some viagra.’
And that’s the day I learned what viagra was.

🐋- share a Weird/funny story? When I went to high school, I went to one that was basically a center where they gave you books and packets, and you just went to take tests, and every test passed was a credit. Well I took the bus there and once had a woman stalk me to my school. She looked to be in her thirties, in a 14 year old’s clothes(I mean in side by the way) , had a Dora backpack, and kept all of her stuff in Tupperware containers(wallet, money, phone, etc.). She proceeded to stare at me the entire first bus ride, follow me to my second bus, stare at me the entire second bus ride, followed me to the parking lot my center was in, and waited there for about fifteen minutes before leaving. Definitely one of the weirder experiences I had the bus.

" have you seen the prince? he's rather handsome. "
Royal Ball sentence starters - @dracoryse
Gatherings such as this have been such a part of Lunafreya’s life, they are almost second nature. Not entirely enjoyable, but simply a part of being a princess, growing up royalty, befriending other royal families. Sometimes there is still fun to be had here, but it seems to be much farther in between now than it used to be, when she was younger and these things held more magic for her.
And yet, despite the isolation in her late teen years, she has found herself a friend. And that alone has been enough to make these dances more entertaining, allowing Luna to temporarily forget that she exists beneath the thumb of the Empire, if only for a while. If it bothers them, the way she enjoys herself when Kisa is around, they do not make it obvious (nor does she believe she would care, truthfully). And perhaps they find a modicum of relief in some way. She doesn’t know, will not ask.
The music is high when Kisa leans in, and Luna cannot help but smile in amusement, eyes scanning the crowd for the prince she speaks of; another dignitary of some small kingdom on the other side of the Empire. Another ploy for an arranged marriage, she is sure, and while she will do her damnedest not to allow it…well, it doesn’t hurt to look. She looks at all of the people milling about, people’s jewelry glinting in the light as they twirl around the floor, heels tapping in a synchronous rhythm to the music. They all look beautiful, but then she spots who can only be the Prince.
Dressed far more elaborately than any other, his back as straight as Luna has trained her own to be, chin high and shoulders back. Properly rigid. He looks uncomfortable with the festivities; she can see it in his eyes and the clench of his sharp jaw, and she understands completely. “He is quite handsome,” she agrees, and it is very true. Pale hair and dark eyes, cheekbones that could cut diamonds, a figure so perfectly trim, she can’t imagine he isn’t highly active, or wearing some sort of shaping garments. It doesn’t really matter, whatever happens beyond this visit will be nothing.
“Do you think we should relieve him of the stuffiness of all this?” She sympathizes with how stiff he looks, and she wonders if he has attended many of these, or if this is a rare occasion for him. She, at least, has long since learned to hide her bored, uncomfortable expressions behind a false smile and guarded eyes.
