Dino commission
Another long-term construction work. :) The sketch was started last year and has been on the shelf for almost a year. This year, I finally finished the drawing. This is a reconstruction of a Dilophosaurus wetherilli wandering along a dried-up riverbed during a period of drought. I practiced drawing dried-up earth, and it turned out pretty well. :D The integuments of Dilophosaurus are speculative.
Black gel ink pen, 2025.
Spooky dooky designs of Dilophosaurs
Originally I came from idea with improving my OC - Tarascon's - design, making him even more graceful and luxuriating. But this doesn't really connect with concept that his genus "lived up" to the Middle Jurassic in my lore. I draw eerie dilophosaurs anyway, and thought:
"What if all these different Dilophosaurs was persons who lived before him? And what if there was formerly a whole Dracula dynasty, that terrified the entire continent as the dominant predators?" There were various Draculas - males and females🧛♀️🧛♂️, kinda "Dracula XLVI (46th) Junior".
And it just so happened that at the time of Tarascon's life, not much is known about them. Someone really believes in existence of clan, finds evidences, someone considers it is a fairy tale. Eventually - Tarascon will have problems cuz of them!
And yeah, I was inspired by muscovy ducks a lot
For the first time since both #inktober and #dinovember there will be an accurate version of #jurassicjune2019 for this month.
Day 1: Dilophosaurus/Dracovenator
These two are the members of Dilophosauridae family, which was included Dracovenator of South Africa and the common one, the Dilophosaurus from the southwestern North America.
And oh one more thing, since it’s June on the day of pride month, I couldn’t post this without colored the gay flag on Dracovenator‘s crest as celebrate the LGTQ theme art, so hope of you enjoy.
Genuine DRACon
Take a look! He's the carnivorous blood drinker, lovin playing evil and being the mystery of paleontology... (it's dilophosaurus)

Day 4: Dilophosauridae.
