Do you have any post-DR3 headcanons?
i took a shower and now i have some
komaru and touko get custody of the warriors of hope excluding monaka. it was tricky legal business but the warriors refused to trust anyone else, so they were reluctantly given to them.
komaru suggests moving after the events of dr3 - they’ve been in towa long enough, they know makoto’s safe, and though things aren’t perfect they’re better. touko argues because togami is staying in japan but is eventually convinced by komaru to move because togami is distracting her from her work
where’d they move to? novoselic. sonia’s gotta keep being a princess. she takes nidai, gundam, akane, touko, and komaru with her. souda begs to go at first but sonia finally confronts him about how uncomfortable he made her in the events of the game. he finally mans up, understands, apologizes, and agrees to leave sonia alone. he finds a girl as stupid as he is and makes good money as a mechanic
akane is the happiest she’s ever been - luxury food, and guaranteed housing. all the novoselics ask her to do is clean, and she’s fine with that. she lives out a childhood that she wasn’t able to have because of her poverty.
unfortunately, she soon gets the news that all her younger siblings weren’t able to make it. they hold a big funeral for all of them and sonia really helps her out. the two start falling in love.
nidai lasts for about two more years before his heart disease takes him. before he goes, sonia flies the entire class out for a class reunion.
hinata goes into some sorta technology field? he goes out to study the technologies that allowed him to become izuru.
i know dr3 wants us to believe he and kirigiri restarted hopes peak but we all know nobody would actually wanna go there after the tragedy. naegi extensively posts about the tragedy on line and gets interviewed a lot. he eventually makes a documentary about the tragedy starring the survivors that gets him a good amount of cash.
komaeda... he lasts about a year before the dementia really starts catching up to him. the sdr2 cast starts actually caring about him after the game, and they get really sad once he’s no longer to remember who they are. he passes peacefully.
mikan goes to a mental hospital because she isnt quite ready for the world yet. saionji, ibuki, and mahiru kinda act as her guardians, and the four of them rent out an apartment together. fairy lights and polaroids are strung up around the place. ibuki’s guitar is usually on the couch. “ibuuuuuki! im gonna squish you if you keep leaving tissues in your pockets!!!”
monaka eventually gets bored of space and comes back down and is entrusted to naegi. he takes her to therapy and she ends up as an okay kid. transfers into high school sophomore year and has normal high school experiences.
gundam tends to the novoselic farm. novoselic is now booming in the chicken industry. it soon gets a reputation better than america in fried chicken
kuzu and peko leave the gang and start their own business. idk what they do but they do it well.
teruteru opens his own restaurant and his mom teaches him to be a better human being.
and everyone is happy.
