Draemhouse at Converse Rubber Tracks Seattle 

The four members of “satin jazz” outfit Draemhouse all have extensive backgrounds in the Seattle psych/blues scene, which likely explains the breezy, effortless confidence shown in the newly formed band’s first releases. Check out the golden hooks of “Woundlicker” after the jump, a smooth-flowing jam from their debut EP that lets in just enough melancholy to keep things interesting.

That first EP is all sold out, but new material is on the way. Draemhouse came into the Converse Rubber Tracks sessions at Avast Recording Co. and hit the ground running: one new song fully recorded, mixed, and in the can.
