Finished!

Sometimes finishing a picture is more important than finishing it well. This is one of those cases 👀

World of Warcraft is still a source of inspiration and dopamine for me, even after I lost the ability to legally purchase a subscription to the game. Azeroth feels like a second home, and the local races excite me. I think it's pretty obvious how much I identify myself with the Azeroth goblins, hehe.

Throughout 2024 I've been extremely demotivated to draw anything at all. I need to do something about this, or I might just stop drawing altogether.

In an effort to finish at least one drawing, I completed my work on a draenei. And I REALLY love draenei; the female model of this race is pure visual satisfaction for my aesthetic needs. Those little horns, goat-like legs, elegant curves. The cute accent in the Russian localization. I really love draenei and my paladin character, Leisezia.

I had a lot of fun drawing her horns. I enjoyed it a little less when rendering her face. In the end, I got stuck on the hairstyle, and I finished the body and background with vibes like "That's it...!"

But what's important is that I finished. The work is complete. It has a background, line art, coloring, and even a somewhat messy render.

And for me, that's worth something after a whole year of stagnation and gloom in my drawing endeavors 👀
