Whispers of Auchindoun

Communing with and tending to the dead has been Kharuun's sole purpose for centuries. Not even the destruction of the tomb city of Auchindoun and the madness of his Exarch have changed the Draenei's predicament or dulled his resolve.

Kharuun's journey to the Brigade was not easy. He was captured along with a handful of others during a skirmish between the Brigade's patrols and the Auchenai roaming through the ruins of the once holy place. It took time, but having been removed from the crypts and counseled by his own kin, he saw that it was still possible to continue his duty without the nihilistic doctrine of the cult the Auchenai have become.

Nowadays he serves as a Death Whisperer for the Brigade. Communing with the dead and using his formidable powers in protecting the innocent.

I have painted this piece a while back, after an even that saw a sizeable portion of the Auchenai joining up with the Brigade forces as a culmination of a very long campaign. I have really enjoyed painting the ruins of Auchindoun, as well as coming up with a outfit that would suit a Death Whisperer. Also.. Bringer of Death, what a classic. The entire piece was painted as a part of my one brush challenge, using a very rough texture brush! I hope you like how it turned out!
