[ this looked really cool I'm sorry] The defenseless Texan sucked in a breath through her chapped lips before calling out to the silver-haired Icelander who is holding a flaming tree-branch. The dancing blaze illuminating his cold, angry expression. "You can't do this, Emil. You weren't meant to function without me." "Yet you can live without me," the sharp and heavily accented reply hit like an icy arrow directly to the heart. Emil continued, "it's hardly fair that I'm not meant to function without you, but you could all of a sudden, one day decide to abandon me, and the world keeps on turning. I refuse to stand for this. That is why this is necessary. I never intended this, but I can't let you drop me like an old, worn-out doll." The angry Icelander took a slow, single step towards the brunette highschooler. Mari glanced around, adjusting her glasses. She clicked her tongue and tapped her fingers against her thigh in attempt to calm her panicking brain and racing heart rate to think of a plan. The personified island country took another step forward. "E-Emil. It doesn't have to be this way. I love you way too much to drop you anytime soon. For fuck's sake, I have your flag hung above my bed. There's no way I'm going to forget you, or Lukas. Now, let's just put the fire away and go have some tea. How does that sound," The female offered. She was confident that her offer would sway the country. Emil's face morphed into a nasty glare as he advanced closer to the green-eyed girl, not exactly set on listening to her speak much longer. Mari yelped and racked her brain for more ideas, coming up with a blank as the silver-haired Icelander's passionate lavender eyes, now flaring with bloodlust, were becoming clearer and closer. She simply gave up on words and pleaded with her expression as the male advanced closer still, now only a few feet away. "P-please...." Tears welled up in the wavy-haired brunette's muddy green eyes. Other muses of hers, mostly forgotten and abandoned ones, were gathered in the shadows behind her, Matthew Williams holding rope. Emil stopped three feet in front of Mari and it was easy to see that they were the same height. The Icelander took another step forward, forcing the terrified Texan to take a step back, backing into a wooden pole sticking out of the ground. Matthew silently walked over to the two and gently placed Mari's hands behind her back and bound her to the wooden pole. The Canadian lowered his head and walked back to where he was standing before. Emil stared straight into the brunette girl's tear-filled eyes with an icy glare before touching the blazing stick to the rope, then the wood by the Texan's feet before setting it there and stepping back. The flames instantly caught on the dry rope, searing the girl's hands. She choked out a sob and the wooden pole slowly caught fire, the flames she loved to watch dance ironically being the death of her. Mari's glasses slipped off her face and fell to the ground a little ways in front of her. The scene was filled with the highschool girl's screams as she was burned alive, her glasses later serving as one of the only items to prove her existence. When all had been said, and all had been done, the muses had won, and no mun was spared. [ yep I killed myself how fun. prompt was here! http://inboxideas.tumblr.com/post/67016721463/the-battle-of-the-roleplay-world-has ]
