"heavy is the head that wears the crown, your grace." it's not a job he admires or wish to be. being lord of winterfell is alike being a king, and the north had been independent for a long time before this. being hand of the king is an honor that drags him to the south far more than he wishes to be, missing the north, including the harsh winters. "sometimes council is needed but in the end, the decision lays upon your head." it's a heavy burden given everything. cregan hopes the young king understands that decisions lead to trouble, if under bad council. "what you must do is manage to get people you trust under your council."

Baela looked at him with a soft smile. It was hard to say what could be said about them, but there would be plenty, and she figured the tale would be based. No one would have the right story. Humming, she sat back in her seat and sipped her wine. "They will speak of how you overcame the odds. How --" Baela wasn't sure how to go one. The rest could be seen as a lie to him. How some thought that he was too gloomy and how little interest he showed in matters. "How you endured too much at such a young age.."

They had lost their family. Baela had fought in the Dance and had the scars to remind her each day. She kept her fire to the best of her ability. "But you know how history is; someone will always disagree with what is written, and what is essential is that we know the truth. It matters what we think and not the others..."
