Good morning 👋. Here another photo from my #dragonfly photoshoot. As you may have guessed this is a Halloween Pennant (Celithemis eponina) 😉. These a quite common and in some areas even pretty dominant. And since they are pretty common, they make great #photography subjects. Also due to their beautiful patterns and bronze tones, they never disappoint behind the #lens 😍. Another interesting aspect about these pennants, is that they seem less "jumpy" than many other species of #dragoflies . And this is another reason why they are great close-up subjects 🙌. Of course, other factors that made this #photo possible are the use of a macro adapter in junction with a macro lens and the implementation of an external flash with diffuser 👍.
