I finished my first playthrough of Dragon Caffi!

I finished Dragon Caffi this morning! There are 112 quests (which is 112 tokens) but somehow I was able to ride the Sky Train with only 109 tokens. In fact, I think you only need 100 tokens total to ride the Sky Train? *shrug* I'm not mad about, but I do wonder what quests I missed. Since I plan on replaying it, I'm not too worried about it. I will find out on my next gameplay!

There were a lot of fun quests in this game. Some of my favorites included looking for Arthur the fish and finding someone's glasses, which were on a cute little cat!

As I previously wrote, some of the quests were challenging but not enough to make me rage quit or anything like that.

When I think back to my gameplay, the music really stands out. I loved how each location had a different song and they fit the environment perfectly.

It goes without saying that the artwork is adorable. All of the colors are pastel, yet bright. The food looks amazing, and even though they're fictitious, I would totally buy a lot of these snacks in real life! (Except the cheesecakes because I don't like cheesecake, even if they do look really cute!

My Switch profile says I played over 15 hours on this. I'm not sure how to get an exact time, but 15-20 hours sounds right. I finished this in less than a month while playing Final Fantasy 1, too.

I really, really, really loved this game and can't wait to replay it on PC!

Currently Playing Dragon Caffi on the Nintendo Switch (First Time Thoughts)

I bought Dragon Caffi on the Nintendo eShop back in July and I have played 15 hours so far. I absolutely love this game! It is one big puzzle game that has you walking around various locations looking for ingredients, running errands for the town folk, collecting recipes as rewards, and making those recipes in return for tokens. The goal of the game is to ride the Sky Train with your accumulated tokens.

I have opened every location and rented spaces in each one (which is the only way to get a map of each place). The maps lowkey suck, but in the beginning they are helpful since you are clueless about what is where. However, after you play the game more, you begin to memorize the location settings!

There was one really hard quest: lighting up the stepping stones in Spring Meadow. I was honestly worried that I wouldn't get it, but I randomly checked the settings and saw that there is a speed up function. After a million + 1 tries, I held the ZR button down and ran across those stepping stones AND I GOT IT!!! I think I did an air fist pump which was embarrassing even though I was alone in my bedroom, ha! That dreaded quest haunted me but now it's over!

Finding the head of the statue for the Haunted Hallows quest was also unimaginably difficult. It really shouldn't have been. I looked through this youtube walkthrough and finally at the very end the player shows the statue head just laying there by one of the exits. *silently cries* I'm so glad I found the darn thing!

Other than that, the rest of the quests have been challenging but completely doable. I am having way too much fun and am sad that I'm almost done. Sad, but also excited to replay it! I want to buy it on Steam so that I can play it on my computer. One of the analog sticks on my Switch acts a little funny so Margo never stands still, she's always walking around. It'll be nice to play the game without that going on.

I have a handful of recipes left and then I'll be done with my first playthrough of Dragon Caffi!
