The gods really sometimes just drop you a whisper in the ear and you go "oh yeah I'm gonna write that dow- WAIT" and then you just have to sit back for a hot minute to digest that tidbit.
I've been at work for 13 hours, I just want to eat something that isn't vending food and not have to wake up 2 hours ahead of the sun on 5 hours of sleep, come on.
My thoughts on Fenrir in the beginning:
- Big boy
- ANGERY
- Wary
- Following my gut but NERVOUS
My thoughts now:
- Big boy!
- Angry and I can relate
- That time in a dream I ran up and hugged Him and He tried to bite off my head when I called Him handsome (He was trying to bite me for show and we both know it)
- Following my gut on what to do cautiously (still learning to trust myself again)
- Finding unexpected kinship in the feeling of being bound (between His bindings and my chronic illnesses, and the anger born from it)
So um. Anyone have any tips on dealing with a volatile room mate who has mcfucking lost it and was throwing shit around 2 hours ago and it still 2 hours later occasionally making a big noise?
SO I got a tree for Jormungandr’s altar and
Someone at work saw my wolf skull pendant and exclaimed to me, "Oh, Fenrir!"
And it threw me off, cause it's a bronze pendant, plain and all but no marks to indicate it's connection to Fenrisulfr. But it is dedicated to Him. Apparently someone who works across the street wears a similar pendant, and the customer who came in talks with them from time to time.
I have many questions.
I cleaned off and rearranged the altar I keep for Fenrir a few days ago and got some decent pictures of His space I thought I’d share. His altar is right on top of my dresser, and it’s next to the door so I pass Him often and greet Him a lot through the day as a result. He’s not one for crystals in the same magpie way I am, but He seems to enjoy the cluster of smoky quartz and has somehow ended up with every piece of rose quartz I own on his space. Salt lamp provides some nice lighting and cleansing of the space daily.
Above shelf isn’t much His space but has my candle snuffer and some honey on standby, so I thought I’d include it.
I have to tell you, sometimes my brain while I daydream and walk through the most unlikely of scenarios gives me some of the rawest comeback lines I will never be able to use.
