🕯Candlewax Dragon🕯

Lo, fellow goblins! Hope you guys have had a wonderful Halloween! 🎃🍂

I meant to post this yesterday, but I've been so burnt out from life stuff and grief from losing my mom, that I honestly struggled to finish this piece. But I did it (thanks to a friend on Discord cheering me on), and now he exists in the world. 🥹💖

Some lore: Candlewax dragons are not found in the wild. They are instead molded out of wax and infused with magic to bring them to life. While this may sound easy, the difficulty with summoning this familier lies with the magic user's ability to control the strength of their magic infusion.

Too much magic will make the candlewax dragon too hard, rendering it a lifeless statue. Too little, and the poor thing will melt into a puddle of wax, never to reform.

A good candlewax dragon remains firm, yet pliable, and is able to reform itself if it gets squished. They may start melting due to their flames from time to time, but this can easily be remedied by peeling off the melted wax and feeding it back to the dragon. Wax chips can also provide extra sustenance for them.

Candlewax dragons come in many shapes, sizes and colours, and are considered to be one of the most customisable familiars. They are mainly content sitting by their owner's side or on tables/vantage points, preferably holding something (they like to feel included). 💖💖💖

Part 1: Sketch I am in love all over again. I realized after I sketched Sinister that this one was next on my list, so I had to sit down and actually watch some clips of Stephen from Midnight Sun. I can now say that this variant is officially on my roster. It is painfully obvious, though, that him and Tony are either together or at least on the cusp of dating. The way they interact, and banter is very similar to how a couple does that has been together for a long time. I really enjoyed this sketch and even though it's simple in nature, it's not without its own voice. Midnight Strange is a very quirky, talkative variant but I feel like he wouldn't kiss and tell. He speaks with a calm voice and when he guides me, I am in a very serene state of mind. I had no issues with his sketch, and I very much enjoy the future of this peace, seeing where it will go. It got me thinking about how Damon would be in this game and I decided that I wanted to do something different. I thought it could be fun that rather than be with Tony and Stephen all of the time, he is admiring them from afar but trying to help them the best he can. So, he sends his familiar - a tiny dragon named Apalala - to them when he feels that they're hitting a dead end. I don't know if Damon will make an actual appearance or maybe just be a character that's nodded to. What do you all think? Should I make Damon a variant for Midnight Sun? This is the next to last variant of Strange on my roster, with the last one being Fall Sunrise (Sunflower Strange as I've started calling him) and then the variants will be covered. Unless all of you have any other requests. Just drop them in my inbox :3
