Off and on, an idea has been on my mind. And whenever dragons are mentioned in the discord server I’m in, it resurges. Well, I finally got myself to at least draw a sort of cover. No idea if/when I’d end up taking up this project or how it’d even go but I’m glad I got myself to draw this. And I’m rather fond of it.

Pidge is a dragon now, I guess

I’ve wanted a dragon Pidge for some time now. Well, now I have one! Curious, far from a home she doesn’t even know about, Hunk is quick to earn her trust. The joy of food, it brings people, even feral dragon children, together. 

How about some bonus images, too?

With hunter cat Lance! (Still debating full design for him, but I like him with the ears and tail). 

Pidge is so playful. 

And she teeths on things. Especially Shiro’s arm.

Phew! I wasn’t sure how I I was gonna manage this, it’s actually been a while since I really drew dragons, especially in different poses than just standing there and looking profile view. But! I succeeded! Dragon!Pidge’s full dragon design! As well as some extras. A profile view, Pidge hatching from her egg (more like blooming) and two when she’s just a little hatchling, one sleeping and one chewing on a chain.

She’s not a very big dragon, but she’s big enough to carry a person.

Redesigned Lance a bit from the last doodle he was in for this AU. Now he has scars and markings! Yes! Anyway! Enjoy this cuteness! From Lance’s happiness to the kitty and dragon just snuggling for a nap. 

When wanting to do a bonus (the sleeping pile), I wasn’t sure what to do. Then I thought of pictures I’ve seen of cats with bearded dragons. That worked for me. It also inspired this.

I couldn’t resist doing this.

Other drawings started, writing projects to work on, and I took the time to work on this art of Shiro for an AU I found myself adding to my project list. Got it.  Anyway! Enjoy this lovely dude! The scratches on his arm are undoubtedly because of Pidge teething on it. 

When he accepts Pidge chewing on his arm, he takes advantage of it and gives the dad jokes when possible.  Space dad in canon, dragon dad in this AU.

I don’t recall how the idea came up, but when talking about this AU with others, it did. So! We get a very happy kitty Lance going “water skiing” with dragon!Pidge. It was probably his idea to have fun, judging by how he’s dressed down to his shorts. Anyway! Enjoy!
