I won’t lie and pretend there aren’t a hundred different things wrong with this port (clipping, gaps, weird animation, can’t tint the armor) but I’ve easily received more requests to release this particular armor than any other port I’ve started so... here it is. Don’t look too closely at it and it’s fine.

Download DA2 Deshine

This is a partial deshine mod for DA2, drastically reducing the intense plasticky shine on several clothing and armor models that have visible skin. The edited specular maps have been taken from the official high res texture pack when available.

I am not currently accepting requests to deshine other models. Feel free to use files in your own mods, no credit necessary.

Two mini dialogue mods which were completed as requests.

One, for Awakening, removes all of Oghren’s banter with Sigrun from the banter rotation. It won’t result in less frequent banter, it’ll just rotate the party banter array and pick literally anything else. (Here it is, if you need a reminder.)

The other, for DA2, severely edits down Gamlen’s comments about Hawke’s romance. All of the red highlighted lines are removed.

I don’t want to hear it. The people who requested the mods didn’t want to hear it. You might not want to hear it either!

side note: pairs well with Mercy’s Less Uncomfortable Companion Banters for DA2 ;D

This might look familiar since I ported this for HM/EM two years ago. I’ve since completely redone the textures from scratch and now I’m re-releasing the mod entirely as I’ve finally finished porting it for HF/EF. (And vaelsmod ported to DF/DM!!)

Humans, elfs, and dorfs

Optional UTC included for Zevran to wear this in the epilogue. You can delete it if you don’t want that but... c’mon. You know this is how it was always meant to be.

The model variation has been changed since the old version for inter-mod compatibility but this shouldn’t impact existing saves once the old files are overwritten.

Bi Sebastian / Seb ASAP now @ DA2 Nexus

turn on subtitles! some dialogue will be unvoiced

What it does:

Allows male Hawke to flirt with Sebastian without the use of MetaGame Abilities or other hacks

What it doesn’t do:

Change Hawke's gender or voiceover to female - I've heard this happened with MetaGame abilities. It does not happen here.

Change any of Sebastian's dialogue - While Hawke's gender isn't changed, he will still be misgendered within some romance-specific dialogue.

Change any of Hawke's dialogue - For the most part it's surprisingly gender neutral anyway. However, one dialogue wheel paraphrase was altered for mHawke ("A prince needs a princess" → "Two princes are better than one."). This line will remain in English even if your game text is localized to another language, but it should be the only one.

Add voiceover for Hawke - not all of Hawke's romance dialogue will be unvoiced, but most of it will. Facial animations will still play.
