I'm making this post specifically for my own reference but if you like Yu Yu Hakusho and were also disappointed with the way Hiei's arc ended (not bad writing and not ooc, just unsatisfying for me personally), read The Voice of Your Eyes on ao3 cause holy frick. It resolved everything I had an issue with.
