Mier - the language of dragons
In the country of Odeskja the dragons have developed their own language to help them communicate with each other. This language is known as Mier. It’s clause structures loosely resemble English.
As a word mier could be translated into people. But it is much more than that. It means civilization, the bonds and connections between all kinds of individuals.
In Mier, many words hold deep meanings behind them, and as such, many dragons believe their language to be sacred. Few of these dragons may devote their whole lives to studying the language.
Some basic Mier words include:
gnaate = Sorry. zuka = Thanks. gla = Hello. ish = Me, I.

Bearded Dragons Produce Venom In 2005 the bearded dragon community was surprised to learn that researchers at Australia's Melbourne University discovered that bearded dragons produce a mild venom. Since the venom is harmless to humans (and a majority of other animals), many researchers believe it was once a trait used by the lizard's ancestors in the past when hunting.

Just wondering for NPC purposes are riders strictly a boys only club or are there lady riders too? Also, if our character by chance dies at some point down the line are we allowed to apply for another? How large are dragons when they first hatch usually or does it vary? What kind of training takes place, are all blocks of training mandatory for every rider and what kind (if any) training do dragons get? Last one, what is a dragon's life span usually or are they immortal? Super sorry!
Don't worry darling.
Just wondering for NPC purposes are riders strictly a boys only club or are there lady riders too?
No, you can assume that there are lady riders and lady dragons roaming around the castle. Feel free to think up of your own NPC, or just use the ones provided.
Also, if our character by chance dies at some point down the line are we allowed to apply for another?
If the character dies, it would never be without a reason. Most times it would be by players choice alone. And if such thing happens, then of course the admins will contact the player to craft a second character with them, if the wish to stay in the roleplay.
How large are dragons when they first hatch usually or does it vary?
It varies and is usually a question of how long the dragon egg has existed in the world before their hatching. How the dragon feels about themselves, and of course what the player wants.
What kind of training takes place, are all blocks of training mandatory for every rider and what kind (if any) training do dragons get?
All sorts of training, if the character has magical powers - they are trained in magic. Bows, swordsmanship, hand to hand combat, fighting against dragons, those bounded train with Dragon Riders in aerial combat along with the dragons. The dragons go trough the same kind of training as their riders plus added "classes" (so to say) of things that only another dragon can teach. And yes - they are very much mandatory.
Last one, what is a dragon's life span usually or are they immortal?
No one truly knows, the age of the oldest known dragon that still lives is Barsum. Weather a dragon can die, or go on living forever - is a question that remains unanswered. Many things about the dragons are still mystery, regardless of how long they've roamed the lands of Enea. So feel free to search for those answers.
If my rider would have lost his dragon for some reason, would that mean he could never have another dragon? Or do they only connect to one dragon?
Not at all! There are players who have lost the other half of their bond, be it dragon or rider, that will still be able to develop another bond. It’s not impossible, though it is something that may come as a surprise.Though, if one were to talk to a very old dragon, there is a high chance they would have had multiple riders over the course of their lives. It just isn’t something that is commonly spoken of, but not entirely unheard of.

how big are dragon eggs? does their color correspond to the dragons scale color? there are people that try and steal/smuggle eggs, right? can you keep an egg from hatching? where are eggs normally found? can people accidentally/legally/naturally come into possession of eggs?
how big are dragon eggs? does their color correspond to the dragons scale color?
I’d like to leave the opportunity for each player to decide for themselves how their dragon’s egg looks like. So let’s say that each egg is different.
there are people that try and steal/smuggle eggs, right?
Yes there are, there would always be people that would want to posses something as special as dragon egg. Call it greed, or simply ignorance about the true nature of dragons.
can you keep an egg from hatching?
If you have magic at your disposal. Three years ago all eggs were forced to hatch, so it’s logical for someone to be able to keep a single egg from doing so if they were skilled enough.
where are eggs normally found?
Usually they are offered to the circles by the dragons, some are simply abandoned by their dragons, others well things happen to them by mistake.
can people accidentally/legally/naturally come into possession of eggs?
Accidentaly - of course. Legally and naturally. Maybe, if they were given the egg not really knowing it is a dragon egg, or if it was lost. Things happen, so it’s not far fetched to tail a story like that.
