Heya my dude! I love your blog and I adore your Reyes/Ryder 'have at it, dad' AU its the best thing ive ever read :D. Dude your blog is my favourite for Danseness! Here's something that's been front and centre in my mind for a while so now this can plague you're thoughts too: Two words my dude, CHUBBY DANSE. Danse is still all muscley as hell but he's got thicker arms and thighs, and a softer face and belly- lets be honest, this man is a sweets fiend. Shy chubby Danse confused and blushy that he's getting so much attention from girls (and fellas) cooing at him calling him cute/handsome etc. You're welcome :)

Thank you. I’ve always figured Danse was practical muscle rather than aesthetic, so he would have a fairly healthy amount of body fat rather than the almost non-existent amount you see on bodybuilders. His face is already quite soft in design too, he doesn't have the faintly gaunt cheeks you see on a lot of other characters. Other than some light scaring he almost doesn't look like he belongs in the wastelands, and certainly doesn't look like he was ever a scrawny, starving kid from Rivet City. In hindsight its clear why. What you described is also how a lot of artists draw McCree from overwatch, another of my not so guilty pleasures.

(Now the logical bit. There’s a terminal entry in the Institute that strongly suggests that their appearance including body mass are constant, no amount of snack cakes causes them to gain weight. Danse would have exactly as much pudge as he was made with. Apologies is that steals the wind from your sails a little for the chubby Danse idea.)
